“I rang and asked after my first order if the handle spindles could be sent a little longer as my doors are 44 mm thick and the handles can't be fitted. Alas on my second and bigger order exactly the same length spindles arrive, what's the point of me ringing. It should be stated on the web site that the handles only fit thinner doors.”

“Beware the Treviso handle SC-2042-BLK. Holes are inconsistent in both diameter and position. Supplied screws are so soft heads come off.”

“Spoke with Handles4U today and whilst I had a pleasent conversation with Alison, I was let down by 'the manager' who refused to accept my request to return around £65 worth of hinges. Fair enough I have had them longer than the standard returns policy but given these are unused, still in original sealed packaging and I am looking to spend a further £600+ on what will be my third or fourth order it seemed petty. This could have been a great customer experience and another order. Based on this I decided to shop around and I placed my order elsewhere having found the same products for slightly cheaper.”

“Not good - I ordered "3 off Robe Hooks and once unpacked, could not untighten the fixing screw on one of the items prior to installation. Notified this if their online contact form - no reply as yet after 3 days. Also no fitting instructions enclosed.”

“More of a criticism of the delivery company. Still not had a chance to collect the item from the very inconvenient place they've left it, instead of leaving it at the post office just few minutes walk away or in the shed or round back of the house”

“Lovely five star brackets let down by unforgiveably bad included screws, the first one of which snapped when screwing into a pilot holed oak handrail which i'd spent a couple of days preparing and shaping round a complex corner. I'm so fed up with having to repair or hide the damage caused by shoddy screws that I'm giving a two star review for these five star brackets till retailers start specifying better included screws or just omit them entirely so we won't be tempted to try them and damage our work in the process.”

“The order was for Georgian door handles. The width stated on the web site was 48 mm. The ones delivered were 45 mm. These are replacements so we are left with a line around where the old handles were removed. Sent a message to sales to ask if they are defective stock or if the description was incorrect. Noted we may want to return them No reply.”

“Although the handle looks nice it looks as if we may have received a reject . One of the grub screws refuses to fit properly and the ring surrounding it looks bent. We waited over a week from ordering to delivery and as it's quite urgent for our builder to fit onto a new door we're very disappointed .”
