“They sold 3 pairs of parliament hinges at £120. Although they were all labelled ‘bronze’ on the box, one was actually black. My joiner fitted it because he had to get the doors done that day. Handles4u said they wouldn’t swap it even though it was their mistake, because he’d fitted it. This is unfair and bad business considering I am spending hundreds of pounds with them.”

“I bought three food waste filters for my kitchen bin lid. I am just about to insert one so Ican't be sure how they will perform but they are all a bit broken up, especially at the corners, with many bits loose in the packaging. So, not very satisfied. They are the same make as the original supplied with the kitchen, so I can only assume the damage has ocurred in the delivery packaging or transportation.”

“The product was good but the ordering doesn’t work using PayPal on my mobile. I contacted the firm but sadly they wouldn’t order over the phone. They assumed I could order online. Eventually ordered via a friends PC. If other firms offered this product I would have ordered from the other firm. Not all customers like ordering everything online….”

“Sufficiently keen to sell you a product anytime*, but while this was (a week after) the *festive season, I have had no response to a problem with the short machine screws for the cupboard knobs I ordered.”

“Takes an eternity to Deliver its not coming from China,and the screws broke off with us being unable to get them out of the door knobs happened twice so had to order 2 completely new knobs.”

“No issue with the product but delivery was terrible. DPD delivered to the wrong address and even sent me a photo of a random house. This is another example of a company accountant choosing the cheapest courier.”

“Delayed delivery, unsure why. When I contacted customer service for an update on the delay and expected delivery date, received unhelpful rude response. Was advised they hadn't been despatched and therefore not delayed, despite several emails and messages notifications advising otherwise. Eventually turned up. Pleased with handles. Poor customer service.”

“I rang and asked after my first order if the handle spindles could be sent a little longer as my doors are 44 mm thick and the handles can't be fitted. Alas on my second and bigger order exactly the same length spindles arrive, what's the point of me ringing. It should be stated on the web site that the handles only fit thinner doors.”

“Beware the Treviso handle SC-2042-BLK. Holes are inconsistent in both diameter and position. Supplied screws are so soft heads come off.”

“Spoke with Handles4U today and whilst I had a pleasent conversation with Alison, I was let down by 'the manager' who refused to accept my request to return around £65 worth of hinges. Fair enough I have had them longer than the standard returns policy but given these are unused, still in original sealed packaging and I am looking to spend a further £600+ on what will be my third or fourth order it seemed petty. This could have been a great customer experience and another order. Based on this I decided to shop around and I placed my order elsewhere having found the same products for slightly cheaper.”

“Not good - I ordered "3 off Robe Hooks and once unpacked, could not untighten the fixing screw on one of the items prior to installation. Notified this if their online contact form - no reply as yet after 3 days. Also no fitting instructions enclosed.”

“More of a criticism of the delivery company. Still not had a chance to collect the item from the very inconvenient place they've left it, instead of leaving it at the post office just few minutes walk away or in the shed or round back of the house”
