“Communication is incredibly frustrating as know one returns my emails! And you are unable to leave a message. I did eventually speak to someone, who was very helpful and apologised form the lack of communication, blamed Covid! there’s no exscuse for this, you cant ignore your customers as we will go elsewhere! Handles I ordered were nice.”

“So, I ordered some knobs for my newly painted doors. 16 in total. They arrived in good time and were well packaged, however 2 of the knobs didn't have threads fir the screws so I couldn't use them. I emailed Handles4u explaining and could i return and receive a replacement. No reply. I had to order and pay for the replacements as i didn't want my cupboards to look odd. I also needed some drawer pulls as I'd miscounted those. All arrived but the drawer pulls were minus the screws to fit them. No point in writing to handles4u as they don't reply. Will go elsewhere. Won't be using them again.”

“Order over £300 of items on 6 Oct, told it would ship in 2-4 days...10 days later still no contact and no ability to contact someone via phone. In their defence when they eventually answered via e-mail they processed the refund the same day. Stock issues are unavoidable and often out with their control but the ability to communicate early with customers is.”

“It would be useful to have images of the handles from a few different angles. I wasn't expecting the spikes! Also wasn't expecting the odd plastic-like coating on the brass.”

“Asked for a review of £120 worth of handles I haven't received . A bit presumptuous even if it is royal mail's fault. The review request should come after confirmation of delivery”

“Only part of my order arrived back on the 6th October. I have sent 2 emails and not had a reply. I have phoned but there is no one manning the phones, just a request to email, which I have done yet again!”

“Took nearly three weeks to dispatch items that were shown as in stock at the point of order. A request for a status update took a week to get a reply. Parts were well wrapped when I received them. I appreciate we are not in normal times at the moment and have taken that into account in the rating (would have given one star). I would have given a higher rating had the expected order delay been indicated at the point of order.”

“My experience wasn't so great because of an error I made when ordering. Having said that, I made the simple mistake of choosing a hinge based on an internet search which led me to a Handles4U webpage where the item was associated with an entirely incorrect photo. I'm not in the trade and am not clever or practical enough to know the difference between half overlay and inset so simply assumed it was the right one based on just the photo. It looked exactly the same as the hinges I needed. Why wouldn't it be the right one? Obviously I only realised when I received the items and so had to return them and reorder the correct ones. I assumed a refund would be relatively quick but 3 weeks later had to call customer services before it was issued. Minus the postage of course which was irritating considering the circumstances behind me ordering the wrong thing. And that the time taken between ordering the originals, sending them back and actually getting a refund meant I incurred a £12 late payment charge on a credit card. Lesson learned.”

“Took over a week to arrive by which time I could have gone to a local shop. One week to dispatch then arrived 2 days later than the 48 hours advisory slot following dispatch. Will not use again.”

“Whilst the service was great ! The handles are lovely however the screws v poor quality. You can only screw once as the perish and the screw driver cannot get traction. So it’s impossible to move them or unscrew. Real shame as everything else was great N”

“Delivery took longer to arrive than expected as Handles 4U still needed to obtain the part from it's own supplier. So, in stock doesn't really mean in stock. Packaging for the item was poor.”

“The handles were great, but they didn’t come with any screws to attach them. Ever other pair of handles I’ve ever purchased have had screws to attach them. If you want to charge extra for the screws then make it obvious at the check out... very disappointing and frustrating.”
