Overall, the technician did nothing wrong. My underfloor heating pumps were seized, I tried turning them manually and I couldn't get them going, so I called for professionals. The technician turned up, tried turning then manually and couldn't get them going. He didn't think it was worth investigating further and concluded new pumps were required. £129 for a 20 minute visit. Why not offer a flat fee call out charge refunded against future work? Or at least only charge for 30 minutes? At those rates, I would suggest trying every possible alternative before calling someone out.

Hello Guillermo, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we wish we could charge less, but escalating costs are against us, with ULEZ, diesel surcharges and all the other cost increases. We do our best to keep our costs as low as possible while providing qualified, experienced gas engineers, plumbers and electricians to attend to your jobs. When it is not a satisfactory outcome we fully understand your frustration that calling us out has not necessarily solved the problem. However, we do have a minimum hour's charge to cover our costs of travel etc. Kind regards, H2 Property Services

Your electrician took a lot of trouble trying to solve the problem with my bathroom's extractor fan. It turned in to a rather mucky job because the problem turned out to be with the ventilation duct and not the fan. Please thank him for his efforts. He was very pleasant throughout and I am grateful that he has identified the problem.

The technician that called had obviously been drinking alcohol before arrival and the bathroom and boiler room continued to smell after he left about 12 minutes after trying to identify and fix the problem. The boiler is working but when I return after being away for a few days, the reset light is flashing a fan is running continuously. I was advised to switch off the boiler at the control panel in future. This is something I have never had to do since having the boiler installed by H2 Property Services in 2008. The technician was not interested. No Stars for service.

Had an issue with our electric shower as a part needed replacing - nothing too much trouble, gave us advice on the parts that were needed and sorted quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Never again... I really cannot recommend H2 after a recent very negative experience. Following a callout to fix a radiator, their engineer switched off all the radiators without informing us, then left promising to send a report, leaving us with no heating at all, a far worse situation than we started with. When I called them urgently about this on the day, they promised to call back after speaking to the engineer, but they never bothered, and now with no heating, we ended up getting the problem fixed by someone else that evening for £75. Partly to address the problem they'd caused, by simply opening the valves they'd left closed, and partly by draining the radiator that wasn't working. After hearing nothing but noticing I'd been billed, I called them and they said they'd sent us a report the following day (as if this somehow made up for not calling back on the day) regarding the work needed. I subsequently retrieved their report from spam and was surprised to see that the estimated cost to repair was over £400, quite a bit higher than the £75 we ended up paying someone else. When we questioned their poor handling of this matter, they were rude and extremely defensive. They have billed us over £130 for the 'work done'.

This is the first time I've used H2. My tenant's boiler broke and they were able to come the next day, find the fault, order the part - which arrived 2 days later. They completed the repair first thing the morning the part arrived. I am impressed and my tenant seems happy.

Service people sent by H2 Property services are sometimes (as in this case) already known to us from their previous visits. So they already know our house and its systems. They always come at the arranged time and carry out the work needed, leaving us with any necessary instructions or advice.
