The engineers at H2 Property were good and professional. The business owner was rude, patronising and unprofessional after we raised a complaint. I would not recommend using this business.

Appalling service. Came to inspect our boiler on one day and then refused to come back the next day (without a separate call out fee) when the issue hadn't been resolved. Awful customer service. AVOID.

Charged me £57 because they can't figure out how to use an intercom or leave a phone message. Not willing to deduct from a future appointment

The technician that called had obviously been drinking alcohol before arrival and the bathroom and boiler room continued to smell after he left about 12 minutes after trying to identify and fix the problem. The boiler is working but when I return after being away for a few days, the reset light is flashing a fan is running continuously. I was advised to switch off the boiler at the control panel in future. This is something I have never had to do since having the boiler installed by H2 Property Services in 2008. The technician was not interested. No Stars for service.

Never again... I really cannot recommend H2 after a recent very negative experience. Following a callout to fix a radiator, their engineer switched off all the radiators without informing us, then left promising to send a report, leaving us with no heating at all, a far worse situation than we started with. When I called them urgently about this on the day, they promised to call back after speaking to the engineer, but they never bothered, and now with no heating, we ended up getting the problem fixed by someone else that evening for £75. Partly to address the problem they'd caused, by simply opening the valves they'd left closed, and partly by draining the radiator that wasn't working. After hearing nothing but noticing I'd been billed, I called them and they said they'd sent us a report the following day (as if this somehow made up for not calling back on the day) regarding the work needed. I subsequently retrieved their report from spam and was surprised to see that the estimated cost to repair was over £400, quite a bit higher than the £75 we ended up paying someone else. When we questioned their poor handling of this matter, they were rude and extremely defensive. They have billed us over £130 for the 'work done'.

Poor service it took about 11 days to get a quote to replace my water heater. After waiting 5 days and hearing nothing, I decided to go with another company who provided a quote the same day and completed the job within 4 days. That's good service.

We are very sorry to receive this review. Unfortunately we were advised incorrectly by our suppliers that this part was discontinued and were trying to source from a different supplier. We should have remained in contact with our customer and that was our failure, however due to it being so busy, unfortunately we did not and we apologise that we did not provide you with a better service on this occasion. We hope that you will use us again in the future and that you will find this is not a usual experience of using H2 Property Services. Kind regards H2

UPDATED REVIEW PLEASE READ THIS WILL SAVE YOU STRESS AND £1000'S! Summary: H2 attended my property twice to solve a leak, in the professional opinion of their plumber Simon, the shower was leaking, trusting this expert opinion I asked H2 to fix the 'leaking shower', H2 proceeded to fix the damaged 'shower', which caused damage to the tiles and subsequently no leak was found. After complaining and only to be ignored by H2, I finally got another appointment weeks later, this time I asked my father to attend alongside the plumber. He did some simple due-diligence, and looked at the most common areas where you get leaks. He checked the toilet, and found the leak within moments of being in the property. All that was needed was a new part!!! H2 have caused me a mountain of stress (which is ongoing), unnecessary bills, loss of income. This problem should have been resolved on the first visit back on 7th August. I lost one month's rental income, had to pay for work to be completed where they did NOTHING! I have a damaged shower and keep getting ignored by H2. H2 are unprofessional and unethical, I would not trust them to do anything in your property! I have contacted both WHICH and NIC to let them know about my issue. I am also taken them to court to get my costs reimbursed. Please please DO NOT USE them. Original Review A leak was found in one of our properties so the management company instructed H2 to find the leak. A 2.5 hour appointment led the engineer to confirm that the shower was causing the leak and that the tiling would need to be removed. I booked a second appointment with H2 to get the problem fixed; a 3 hour appointment charged at £85 per hour + VAT concluded that, that was actually not the fault, and the shower was not causing the leak, and thus the water could be switched back on. Two days later the leak reappears, all in all I’ve spent £600+ with H2 to be left with a leak, and tenant that can no longer stay in the property as legally we can’t turn the water on. I also question why no isolation valves were used for the shower to help discover if that was the actual issue. All I can say is H2 to not care at all; I now have cosmetic damage to the shower, lost rental income for 2 weeks and had to pay for work that hasn’t resolved the problem. I’ve complaint and not heard anything from H2, how can you leave a customer without any water? I am also disputing the payment and will be taken H2 to court if this is not resolved ASAP. The company is unprofessional and unethical, avoid at all costs. This is not how you do business, especially as a family company.

We have been trying to resolve making good the repairs following tracing a leak with this customer for nearly a month now. We are liaising directly with the customer in order to arrange this so we are disappointed to receive another review before we have been allowed to do this. The customer has only been charged £288 by us with which we have offered to credit £158.83 and are trying to confirm that the works will be completed for her free of charge as a gesture of goodwill in order to resolve this properly for her.

After H20 Property attended to my boiler, the boiler broke down a few weeks later and was found to be in dangerous situation. H20 had not spotted the problem and I was told by the next plumber who attended from a notable company that the works that had been done here was very unsatisfactory and a breach of health and safety.

H2 carried out a repair on this customer's boiler and left the boiler in working order. We were never asked to return to any further problems in relation to the work we had done and have only now been informed three months later that she had been charged £7,348 for a like-for-like combination boiler swap by another plumber. We can understand why the customer might be upset as it seems an excessive amount of money to be charged but her issues against H2 are unfounded as there is no question H2 left the boiler in a dangerous situation and we have not been given any evidence to show otherwise. All our boiler work is undertaken by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer who works closely to strict gas regulations.
