“Good product, delivered in a reasonable timeframe and customer service was helpful whem I had a issue to resolve. My one gripe is that the nowhere (at least that I could find) on the communication I have received does it state that the bill will appear on the credit card statement as "The Alpaca Centre Chicago" which needless to say is about as far away from a Timber company as you could imagine. As you can imagine this was quite a concern and only by the fact that I managed to match the transaction amount on the statement to one item in the many things I had purchased over that period was I able to realise that my credit card wasn't being used unlawfully”

“I ordered a relativly small amount of oak (par) 12mm and 18mm thick which has proved to be very stable, was well prepared and was extremely well packaged. Delivery was much quicker than that suggested on the website. All round, a very good experience. Will use again!”

“I dont have any issues at all with G & S Specialst Timber. I Purchesed a Robert Sorby Universal sharpeng kit from threm in November 2024 which required a grinding wheel ti be of any use. In January2025 i had saved enough money to buy the item I really wanted which was the Robert Sorby Pro Edge system. G & S Timber were very good and refunded the money I had spent on the Universal Kit even thoughthe 30 day return wibdow had expired! Well done G & S timber!!”
