“I used G&S for the first time recently to buy some hardwood dowel. It arrived promptly and well packed, the wood dowel (sapele and oak) was very well machined and of excellent quality. The oak length, 2.4m, had a tiny bend in it but being a joiner/cabinet maker I know this is expected over such a length. It didn't affect my use of it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from G&S again and can recommend them.”

“I needed some dowel to make a small finial, and bought a selection of sizes in both beech and cherry. The quality was very good and it's great you can buy short lengths for small projects/model making etc. I would definitely recommend.”
