“I am a very amateur sawdust/shavings maker. Nothing spectacular, mainly boxes and small bits using a router (and table). Had stopped for over five years after moving house and started again using previously purchased wood, mainly beech, mostly spalted odds and ends. Really needed PAR timber, with square ends and recently found G&S. The timber supplied to me by them has been excellent and no doubt I will be back for more in due course.”

“Have been buying dowels from G&S for years. Excellent quality. Never any split pieces and they have a decent finish so need very little work before staining.”

“The beech I ordered arrived far quicker than I'd expected. I was very pleased that the main piece was one solid "plank" and wasn't two pieces jointed (because of the width). There are a couple of minor machining marks down one face but I'm optimistic these will disappear with some sanding.”
