“Having bought a pair of boots from a high street outdoor retailer, where the sole came away, only to be replaced with some 'waterproof' leather boots, which were as waterproof as a pair of flip-flops. I was recommended to try some GRISPORTS, and Wow !, what a difference. They looked great and well made from just opening the box, and when first tried on, fit like a glove. they didn't require 'breaking in', and are so comfortable, and light to wear. Storm Babet was a great waterproof test, and it has been a pleasure to return home with completely dry feet. Absolutely brilliant. I would also like to thank the team at Grisport for their help and assistance. Conclusion, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

“Had three pairs of Scarpa Mescalito GTX Shoes but decided I didn’t want to lay £220 any more for approach shoes. These were on offer, down to £69 (from £110) at the time of purchase. They are lighter than the scarpas. They well cushioned BUT I’m very impressed. I bought them as an approach shoe to get me to the bottom of climbing crags in Spain. They’re well built, high quality and grippy vibran soles. I ordered the anti shock gel insole which fits perfectly into the shoe and makes it feel a lot more comfortable. I recommend to all as an approach shoe. Very pleased.”

“Overall boots were of good quality. I was particularly looking for numback leather boots with slip resistant sole. The shape of the sole was very close to my previous boots which were very good on slippery surfaces like on ice, wet and oily tiles etc but these boots were not good on slippery surfaces and I was not able to find one step smaller size in these boots. If It was possible to get size 39 in these boots I was able to compromise on its loose grip on slippery surfaces. I hope my comment will help company to think about making slip resistant boots for size 39 in men. Many thanks”

“I have owned 4 pairs of Grisports excellent Ranger boots and need to renew. On the net I discovered several reputable sites offering these boots substantially cheaper, by as much as £20 so I contacted Grisport and said that I would like to continue to buy direct from them and continue to support their business. Also, on the Grisport website I found a pair of boots that looked identical to the Rangers called decoy and that were substantially cheaper than the Rangers so I emailed and received the following reply "Hi, Yes, they are practically the same boot. Decoy is Dark Brown though. Ranger has the better lining which adds to the cost but the lining in Decoy is more than adequate. Kind regards Gavin" With this information I ordered a pair of Decoys. Faults: Firstly, I would have expected Grisport to at least offer to match the prices advertised elsewhere of their boots and secondly the Decoy boots are not the same, the Ranger is a wide fit and the Decoy is not.”

“Very prompt delivery of shoes from Grisport. Delivery company came at the time they told me. Another pair of Grisport shoes. The last lot I had for over 15 years and wore them often. Sadly the soles gave out and became porous. They are always very comfortable from the outset.”

“Walking shoes and boots always wide enough for my very wide feet, only one thing with latest Walking shoes purchased is the laces, difficult to get them on because I can't adjust them enough as they aren't tie up style, getting better though”
