“Great walking shoe, fast service and so far so good. However shoe described as water proof, not so sure it is, sock was wet after one heavy downpour. Hence 4 stars”

“I have decided to try Dartmoor walking shoes to replace my Brashers for when the bad weather comes later in the year. Brashers are very poor in icy or light snow conditions so I am hoping the Vibram sole will be an improvement. The shoes arrived promptly and well packaged as you would expect from a quality company and the extras package was a bonus I have been a few short walks to bed them in and am looking forward to a safer walk to the pub this winter”

“I recently bought the lady's trident walking shoes, just what I was looking for, light weight, sturdy and waterproof. They fit snugly around my feet but hold well in all areas so no rubbing. Overall, a comfortable good value pair of walking shoes. I would recommend them.”

“Excellent quality waterproof walking shoes, with a tough Vibram sole and heel. Comforable as wide range of foot height and width accommodated in the design. The sole is fairly stiff, probably because of the Vibram, but that's what I want in a walking shoe due to osteoarthritis in a toe joint. Not cheap, but worth it. Nice colour (blue suede).”

“The walking shoes I ordered unfortunately arrived faulty but returned and exchanged free of charge. Customer comms could be better as I had no idea if my return had been received or when I would receive a replacement.”

“Great boots . Had to take inner soles out to replace with pro II'S inner support soles. Great to look to see what was last sent free as now have 4 boot bags only need 1 or 2. A pair of gaitors would have been nice , if people check last order free gift or let choose between the items on offer if you spend over a certain amount. Chose Crusaders as have better hooks as other hooks on other boots are smaller or slightly bent in wrong direction so when pulling laces to tighten they eventually break. So stronger double sized hooks needed like on Crusader boots. They took longer to get used to as higher up calf. I have to buy wider fit and a size larger to fit inner soles in for planta fasciitis.”

“Purchased a pair of leather walking boots from Grisport. Very good quality boots, well made, waterproof with excellent grip. Pretty comfortable from the start and good width. I've had boots by Meindle, Merrel, Hitec, these compare very well and at a good price.”

“I have recently purchased two pairs of boots from Grisport, after reading the reviews in in the "Which" website. The first pair were to replace an old pair of Merrell trainers, the second pair are for general walking. Both pairs are excellent, first clas and comfortable . The only thing that I did not like are the flat laces. I purchased round ones but they are not long enough or strong. Grisport are first class, also both times I received a free gift worth £33 They are very well made and reasonably priced. If I every need boots again I will always use Grisport.”
