“Bought a pair of Pennine boots in January and by May the soles, while showing practically no signs of wear, had cracked across. Customer Service was excellent - I purchased a new pair of Saracen boots and they refunded the purchase price of the Pennine boots and made up the difference. So far so good with the new boots. Their advice is always to buy boots with Vibram soles (begs the question why do they make any others?). Customer Service gets 5 stars - cracked boots loses a star.”

“Fantastic boots, so light and very well designed. They fit perfectly and can be used for a variety of activities including walking around town, driving and hiking. I love my boots and this review is for my husband’s boots. They look good and are very reasonably priced compared to Meindl etc.”

“They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I wore them straight away and took the dogs for a long walk. A good fit, good support and the laces didn't keep coming undone. A pretty blue colour too.”

“I have brought Grisport gamekeeper boots which were excellent. This is why I brought the Rampage walking boot expecting the same quality sadly I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend them. I walk 10000+ steps every day so boots normally break in very quickly but these especially the right boot has not done so. I order them and they were delivered promptly which is positive but unfortunately the boots don’t live up to the name.”

“Having bought a pair of Grisport walking boots for the winter, I ordered a pair of Grisport trainers online in the same size. Little bit wary as usually footwear not tried on don’t fit or are uncomfortable. They arrived. First try on and they felt fine. No blisters or rubbing. They say you can wear them straight from the box & it’s true. One Nordic walk later and my feet were fine.”

“A sturdy walking boot. The heel has better cushioning than the ball of the foot. Probably better suited for those with a slightly more narrow foot than broad-footed individuals such as myself, a fact that - as so often - only became noticeable once I started walking in them.”

“Shoes comfortable straight out of the box. I have read that some people were disappointed with the delivery time but I ordered mine on a Sunday and they were delivered on Thursday. I'd say that's pretty good.”

“I love, love, love Grisport footwear. I have a pair of their walking boots and a pair of walking shoes. Both are utterly brilliant and were comfortable straight out of the box. I wanted a pair of 'easy lace' shoes, so when they were half-price in the sale, I ordered them. Ordering was fine, yet delivery was slower than usual. But the real disappointment was the shoes - the left and right foot bore little resemblance to each other (shape-wise) and while one foot was comfortable, the other shoe cut into my ankle. I decided to order again, to see if I could get a pair that matched - I actually ordered two more pairs by mistake. Again, slow to come (though see below). However, all three pairs had the same issue, suggesting to me that it was a manufacturing problem. I wouldn't have minded the mismatched look so much if they had been comfortable but, as I say, one foot was fab and the other cut in. I am rather upset by this, as the shoes would otherwise have been perfect. In the second order, I also ordered a pair of walking shoes for my partner. They are brilliant, and he is delighted with them. I hope to have a better experience in the future. One tip that may help others - if you use Apple Pay, you don't have any delivery options, which means you default to 'whenever they can', which is why my orders were slightly delayed (because Grisport are very busy). No-one's fault, but if you need something urgently it might be useful to know.”
