“The shoes deserve 5 stars. They are great . Reason I gave 4 is due to added charges I had to pay such as vat on custom and fees. I understand reasons for these charges but they weren't mentioned when I was originally paying for product so I was disappointed with that. The extra charges had to be paid later on .”

“J’avais dit bon rapport qualité prix dans mon premier commentaire sauf que c’était avant que je reçoive une facture FedEx alors que je m’attendais à une livraison gratuite, vous auriez pu prévenir que vos chaussures italiennes sont envoyées d’Angleterre et qu’il faut payer une taxe à l’importation de 27€ plus frais de dossier 8€ plus TVA, merci aux lois du commerce européennes. Je n’en veux pas à Grisport et hormis ce désagrément les chaussures vont bien”

“I've been buying these shoes for over ten years now and they are a very comfortable stable footwear for the type of area i live in. Mainly the scottish Highlands. I use the exmoor and dartmoor shoes.”

“The lady who answered the phone was helpful, friendly and quick. She even offered a discount because I have bought so many pairs over the years. The shoes are fine. The only issue was with the delivery: an email said delivery would be the following day but it was delivered the day after it was promised. But the delivery driver was courteous though he came one day after promised.”

“First impressions, well made, light and comfortable and seemed to fit ok. After around 30 miles walking a little discomfort on my big toe despite seeming to fit well. I ordered 43, the box days 43, but after having worn them for a while I checked the marking on the sole and the tongue. Both say 42.l, probably explains why I experienced the discomfort. The right one seems marginally to small but I am hoping it'll wear in. Moral of the story, check the size on the boot, not the box, before wearing, hence the 4 stars instead of 5”

“I have bought many products from Grisport over recent years and they have been great. However, I am very disappointed that they no longer supply the Lanark walking shoe which I have found to be the most comfortable shoe I have ever had the pleasure to wear and I am 80 years old! To me, it is the seams around the toe of a walking shoe that make them uncomfortable but the Lanark had no such seams. PLEASE bring back the LANARK.”

“Good value for money. This is my 2nd pair of "Pennines". First pair worn every day for two years. Soles split across ball-of-feet (where tread is deep so sole is weakest) and a huge lump of Vibram fell out of the middle of the left heel. Otherwise the boots remain perfect and seems such a shame to throw them away (even though I've got a brand new pair, excellent value at £70) so I'm probably going to experiment with flexible waterproof sealant and see if I can repair the soles on the original boots as not much wear to the sole treads or the beautiful leather uppers,and very comfy.”
