“My order arrived on time , sadly there was a fault with the lining. Shoes returned to Grisport at no expense to me. The brilliant staff after a phone call, something rare to be able to speak to anyone nowadays when buying on line! They have sent me a replacement pair of the same item, the fit is so good I can hardly tell I'm wearing them , hopefully I will get many hours of walking and comfortable pleasure from this pair of Icarus walking shoes.”

“We find that the shoes and boots from Grisport are reliable and hard wearing. We like the fact they are made in Italy - next best thing to being made in Britain as far as we are concerned. The prices are reasonable given the longevity. The website easy to use and helpful staff in the customer service department. Prompt dispatch and delivery too.”

“I walk an average of 40 to 50 miles every week, all weathers, all terrains in the Brecon Beacons (with my beautiful collie for company.) Grisport boots are the most comfortable, supportive, durable and waterproof of all the boots I've tried and at a fraction of the price of some of the other brands. Sales, Delivery, Returns and Communications are also excellent.”

“4 stars because I had to return a pair bought online as too tight over my instep. However, I bought a different style boot from a local retailer also Grisoft, and they're great, but I did go up a size. My last pair were Grisoft and I go for them first because when they fit they really fit, they're very good value and they're good quality. They're also Italian and I've always found Italian shoes and boots fit me best.”

“If you're looking for a wear- in- almost- all situations shoe, the Dartmoor is the nearest I've found to meet this. Now on my seventh (or is it eighth ?) pair over about 15 years, mine are worn 365 days a year. The Vibram sole makes all the difference and I wouldn't go back to any other. Available in dark brown or very dark grey, regular waxing helps to maintain their supple bending. Not a cheap shoe, but quality never is.”

“Purchased walking shoes were exactly as described and very comfortable. I do a lot of urban walking and these were ideal. It was important to me that the Grisport production facility in Italy was to some degree solar powered. And crucially these were shoes made somewhere in the world other than China.”

“I took a long time researching a replacement pair of leather walking boots. Eventually I opted for a pair of Grisport and I'm glad I did as their boots are not only sturdy and well made, they are also very comfortable. Full marks to Grisport.”

“Comfy straight out of the box. True to size, supple leather and decent traction on the grip. Only been on a couple of steady walks in the dry, so far so good, time will be the true test.”

“Arrived without a problem and boots fitted perfectly. Size 42, UK 8. Was a bit apprehensive thinking should I order size larger but as they are leather they should stretch to your feet naturally. They are very well made and have had no quality issues.”
