“I needed some walking shoes as opposed to boots and I had looked at many on line sites. I found that the Grisport site was the most informative about the shoe and when I ordered them the sales lady was exceptionally efficient, friendly and helpful. In fact, once I received mine, he liked the quality so much that my husband ordered a similar pair for himself”

“Would have given 5 stars but only had Thunder trekking boots for 10 days. Presale customer service and advice were excellent, boots appear robust and well made but still in the "breaking in" stage as is normal with this type of leather hiking boot.”

“Comfortable and light weight for leather boots. Plenty of room around the toes and good fit across the top of the foot. So many boots I’ve tried seem to be right across the top, but these are a perfect fit. Good quality finish and love the olive colour.”

“Ordered safety boots and socks. All arrived as described. Excellent boots and nice socks. Boots very comfortable even for hiking. No breaking in required. Very pleased.”

“22 miles first walk in for my new boots and overall they were very good lightweight waterproof, with no blisters/ rubs at the end. However do have to say less comfortable on long stretches of tarmac, but insoles will sort this.”

“So far, these boots are well made and comfortable. They look very classy - not fifty shades of rainbow colours which seems to be the fashion of footwear today - and it remains to be seen how waterproof they will be. My one reservation is that although sturdy and supportive, the ankle rise is very high and I fear it's going to rub my ankle bone on substantial walks unless I am wearing extremely thick socks.”
