“These boots are great, not too heavy and have good arch and ankle support with a sold vibram sole. Also they are cheaper than other hiking boots I have used in the past such as, Zamberlans and LL Beans brands. Id say the Grisport hiking boots are comparable and a good option to consider if you want a lighter boot for long distance walks in the UK National Trails.”

“Pretty happy with my Dartmoor boots. They are a perfect fit. They don't squash my toes together, and they are wearable right out of the box, with no rubbing against my heels. The soles seem very sturdy and hard-wearing, and are fairly grippy. There was one downside, however. The stitchng on the heel of the right boot is not great. The heel section has been stitched on slightly crooked, and you can see the punch holes of where the stitching should have gone. Hopefully, this is just a cosmetic flaw, and will not reduce the longevity of the boot.”

“Easy to use, great service, well made and comfortable shoes/boots. My only issue is in my latest pair of leather waterproof boots Infind the laces are a little bit shorter than I like, as I prefer to tie mine with a diuble bow as this usually stops then from becoming undone”

“Easy straight forward on line ordering service and excellent prompt delivery. Dartmoor GTX fit like a glove - no 'wearing in' needed - so light and extremely comfortable. I'm on my feet and walking every day with work and now become my everyday shoe! I will be ordering another pair or will try the Dartmoor! To me Grisport are a hidden secret - I never new the company existed and BRITISH - I recommend as recommended to me - a definite must try!”

“Only had 2 walks (10 and 6 mile in very wet and muddy hill conditions) so far but great boot for the money. Only dropping one star for flat eyelets which makes tying the laces more awkward. Very wide fit and wide sole. Much wider than Scarpa's and Meindl Buthans for comparison.Very comfortable straight away. Fully waterproof so far, even when submerged. They might not be quite as premium as some of the £250 - £300 boots around but for what you pay these are excellent value. A lot of boot for your money. Until scarpa and meindl stop making boots with ice skates for soles these will definately do the job just fine.”

“The boots I was interested in were out of stock on the Grisport website so I phoned their customer service and found them extremely helpful. When I pointed out my requirements for wide-fitting boots, I was advised about other models that were also wide-fitting. I took the advice and ordered a pair early afternoon and they were delivered before 9am the next day, complete with a free gift of gaiters. The boots are a great fit and extremely comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend Grisport boots and their customer service.”
