“This was the first time I have used Grisport and the customer service was excellent. The product I purchased a pair of walking boots are so comfortable and the merino socks provided in the free welcome pack are so warm and soft. Superb products. I will recommendGrisport to my walking friends.”

“Rampage Wide fitting Walking boots. Firstly these are wide. They are not superwide probably an E fitting but definitely more accomodating for the older expanding foot. I am very impressed with quality for the price. Immediately comfortable out of the box. High ankle gives great support and confidence but is soft and comfortable. I have not tried the sole on wet rock-but all treads struggle-but on mud has deep lugs and is secure. Sizing-I bought 44 and wear43/44 shoes. Can manage 2 pairs of medium socks . You dont need to over size by much. Free gifts of a microfibre towel and the socks were decent. Overall excellent value for a proper pair of old school boots.”

“The shoes are very well made, but are not as snug a fit as I had anticipated. When walking I feel that my feet tend to move within the shoe, despite wearing 2 pairs of socks. Do I need thicker socks, or a removable insole? Some advice on how to maintain suppleness and waterproofing of the shoes would be welcome.”

“I have been very pleased with my boots and surprisingly haven't needed any walking in. I'm aiming to complete at a mighty hike 26 miles for Macmillan Cancer charity so feeling confident that my Grisport boots will be my trusty friend for training and marathon hike in June!”

“Walking boots I purchased were totally unfit for purpose. Customer services totally uninterested in what amounts to selling an item for £120 which ended up bringing unsafe to wear. Needless to say I will never purchase from Grisport again.”

“I have been wearing Grisport boots for a couple of years and I wear boots every day all day. They are undoubtedly the most comfortable boots I have ever owned and I have had boots from many makers for every day and hillwalking. I have also found them to be hard-wearing much of my walking on rough ground in the country. I have not had a problem with the boots leaking though I do look after my boots cleaning and waxing them regularly.”
