“Despite previous reviews saying the sizing was generous, I find they are modest. As they are leather, I will persevere and hope they stretch a little. Otherwise, faultless service, especially the price; we'll see.”

“I suffer from arthritis and a few years ago I was almost unable to walk and spend anytime with my kids or do any outdoor activities but I was recommended to grisport so I bought my first pair of walking/hiking boots I needed a lightweight pair with ankle support and I was so surprised how well they fitted and the high level of comfort and support I got from them,they have completely changed my life as now I’m able to enjoy life again with being able to walk and enjoy outdoor activities again. These are buy far the best footwear I’ve ever purchased and I’ve had to buy many many different types of footwear over the year but until I bought from grisport I’d almost given up ever being able to walk ride or hike ever again. So thanks I love your footwear.”

“in terms of customer service Grisport are fantastic. I especially like the surprise gifts that accompany the footwear purchased. The Thunder boots I purchased. In summary, they are light for a leather boot and look and feel well made. The exception to this is the footbed which I have replaced with a more cushioned version which has transformed the under foot cushioning. I have also found them very supportive. The remaining issue I have with them is that if I walk any further than 5 miles in them they start to rub the back of my heals. I have put this down to two things. Firstly, I have prominant heal bones and the boots are straight at the back so my heal is constantly in contact with the back of the boot which rubs. Secondly, I have worn fabric boots for some time, which are softer, and the skin on my heals has become less resilient. There is a third factor and that is all leather boots need a period of breaking in. Once I have worn them more and they have molded to my feet I am sure they will be fine.”

“My last two pairs of boots were size 44 and 46, so I ordered 45. The Grisports are miles too big. Two pairs of thick socks can't make up the difference so they are pretty unwearable. I can't return them because I left for Ireland the day after delivery. The boots seem solid enough.”

“I bought a pair of Aztec extra wide boots. Really comfortable and more room than the standard fit which after a few hours I had to take off. These from day one I can keep on all day Excellent ankle support. The soles grip like glue.”
