“Service excellent and prompt delivery on schedule makes buying from Grisport easy. The flask and bag were a welcome surprise which put a smile on my face. Have awarded only 4 stars tho as my last pair of Grisport boots perished along the joint after only one year.”

“Very comfortable walking shoes - no breaking in required. Laces a little short but think they will be fine once the shoes have been worn a while and they can be pulled tighter. Lovely to receive the free gift.”

“My wife and I both have Grisport walking boots. In the case of my wife she is on her second pair after ten years of moderate to hard ware. I am new to Grisport after two poor experiences with a major company. The service is quick the quality is good and time will tell how well myboots last as I am harder on my boots than my wife. If they perform like her first pair, even if not for so long I'll be well pleased”

“The shoes I ordered turned out not to be in stock. However a substitute was arranged and delivered quickly. Whilst they are effective, I prefer the Vibram sole, and this pair does not have that.”

“first walk i the boots apart from roud house ad garden was up 3 mountains in Scotlad ,very comfy not tested waterproof ess as was ot wet. ok so far”

“Only just received the boots so don’t know how wearable or long lasting they will be. Excellent service from Grisport staff, (especially Jenny). I ordered the boots but then had to be away for their delivery date. Jenny delayed dispatch until I returned home and boots arrived next day (Saturday). I hope the boots are as good as the service. Thank you.”

“I was very happy with the fit and initial comfort of my saracen boots. However, I did find the cushioning with the supplied footbeds not to be great. After about 15 miles of my first walk in them I found my heels getting sore, which is not usual for me. I removed the thin footbeds and replaced them with the thicker cushioned ones which came as an extra with the boots. I found this very much better on my second walk with them. However, after about 18 miles I could feel something was not right. The cushioned insoles had come apart, delaminating and the heel cushion had become detached and displaced. Admittedly it was a horrendously wet day and my boots were damp inside, but I have never found such a catastrophic failure with any other insoles under similar conditions. Generally at present I am still happy with my purchase and have fitted new insoles. I will see how they wear before considering another purchase. Normally I buy boots with a leather bellows, I will see if these remain waterproof. Also the tread depth is rather less than I usually go for, so I will see how long that lasts and how grippy it is. Finally I will see how the uppers resist cracking. Normally I get about 2000 miles out of a pair of boots. I hope that is useful feedback and I may well purchase again if they age well.”

“I bought a pair of Grisport Snowdon boots in May 2023 and have been really impressed. Worn daily for dog walks in the country in all weathers. The uppers are in great shape, the welts are sound and the Vibram soles showing next to no signs of wear. Might need a fractionally thicker sock than some of the softer, less robust and far more expensive competition. So bought a pair of Grisport Livingstone shoes for all/every day wear (including dog walking around town) and I am not disappointed. Brilliant design - slightly undercut heel and cushioning is really comfortable on pavements, waterproof, grippy sole etc. The leather is resistant to creasing, even after a soaking, and they could be worn to the office - even look OK on the ends of some older legs sticking out of a pair of shorts.”

“Would have been 5 star but the free gift for purchases over £75 was missed on order . Customer service advised I needed to tick if required. They advised would attempt to forward gift on but nothing has arrived. Disappointing!”

“Easy to order and swift delivery, would have been 5 stars as this would be my second pair of grisport boots, my origional ones finally giving up after 8 years and were comfortable right out the box. Decided to exchange this order for a different pair (returns label provided) and am waiting for conformation my boots have been recieved.”

“In terms of service, I have given Grisport a high rating even though my boots weren't satisfactory. The boots arrived quickly and when I emailed with a complaint about lack of waterproofness they responded very promptly. The return process was made extremely easy which cannot be said of a lot of companies. I am now waiting to see if the replacement pair arrive quickly and if they are waterproof !”
