“After buying a pair of Meindl Goretex boots I was very disappointed to find they leaked. Did some research and found Grisport very highly rated although not a brand I had heard of before. Bought a pair and frankly they are superb. Comfy from day one, water proof and lacing stays done up unlike a pair of Scarpa boots I had which were fiddly to lace and frequently undone.”

“Boots very good only criticism is that the sole could be more robust. Over time they do become thin and the stones and uneven ground can be felt more than a more expensive pair of boots.”

“Excellent boots at a very good price. Comfortable out of the box and have kept my feet very dry in the recent wet weather. Free socks and a travel cup was a bonus surprise as well. Highly recommended.”

“Moved over from Salomon quest due to poor wear. Found the ranger boots to wide fitting, which is great. Filled them out using the excellent but redundant salomon footbeds. I now have really robust, waterproof boots which have the brilliant vibram soles, the best sole going. Using wax to maintain the proofing, you can see the mud just slide off. A very different look from a textile boot. Down sides after about 40 miles and half a dozen walks through muddy fields, streams, woods, none as yet. My boots are green, a bit different from most Grisports and maybe were on sale because of it. They came with socks, insulated mug and laces promptly which you can't ask more for. Would I buy again, definitely.........maybe in dark blue next time?”

“Great shoes, recommend by Which magazine. If it wasn't for them, I would never have purchased a pair, but I am glad I did. They are comfortable from the first step; I never had to break them in.”

“Used to be a great company caring for its customer, not anymore, product quality now in decline after using the avenger model for a number of years this will be the last pair I purchase. No idea of their stock levels so sell boots they are not even sure they have ! As for the free pack that comes with the boots it’s absolute garbage best thing is the spare laces.”

“This is my third pair of shoes from Grisport, this time it was a pair of trainers and the quality goes without saying. The website is easy to use and their footwear is as described, I would not hesitate to recommend Grisport to anyone looking for boots, shoes or trainers.”
