“I bought a pair of Grisport Army patrol boots about six years ago they have served me well. The uppers are still fine as I'm particular in my waxing and polishing. The only reason I haven't been using them is that I've worn the sole down at an angel. It was giving me a bad ankle. I was in pressed by my dad boots. I purchased a new pair of Grisport walking boots. As they were under the heading of no breaking in necessarily. I walk my dog every day on quite long walks in our countryside. I find now as my feet starts to sweat the heel guards rake the backs of my heels giving me some big blisters. I've tried different socks. But nothing seems to work. You can feel where the heel support system is rubbing. As I said I've had these boots about a month now,. I use them every day, and I'm still having problems with them. The rest of the boots seems to be OK. Must admit I thought they would have broken in by now. I'm disappointed with them. It's a shame. As my old pair were great.”

“After a number of purchases over many years I had one pair of walking boots split open after just over a year of normal use. Because it was more than 1 year there has been no interest in addressing what is a clear shortfall to reasonable expectations. Simon”

“First time purchase of walking shoes after reading great reviews. I can confirm that the shoes are lightweight and extremely comfortable frommday one. I wear orthotics and there was no problem with fitting. The shoes also look good.”

“Probably the worst customer service I have come across. Received the wrong size boots, requested the correct size on the returns paperwork and in a direct email to Customer Service. Received the wrong size again. Returned and asked to know how much would be refunded, again to Customer Service department. No reply. Received an email saying the order would be refunded. Asked how much the refund would be. No reply. Received an email saying the order had been refunded. Asked how much the refund was. No reply.”

“Unfortunately the boots I ordered were the wrong size. I could only find that out by going on a walk with them. I cleaned them up and sent them back but as they had been worn once they could not be refunded or replaced. I have a suggestion: personally I would be very happy to buy a pair of 'nearly new' boots at a discounted price, especially if that meant that I could get a partial refund if I needed to return a pair that I had only worn once. If Grisport did that, they would get 5 stars from me.”

“Bought a pair of Crusader Wide Fit Boots. Very comfortable they are too. I've done about 100 miles in them already. It's the second pair of Crusader's I've bought. No problem with them. The free socks are great too. I'll be buying more of these.”

“Was looking for a new walking boot. I wanted a high boot for ankle support. Found these Grisport boots which have been ideal for my needs. They are light weight and comfortable out of the box. The quick lase system makes them easy to get on and off. The boots are high which gives ankle support and projection when walking through long grass or bracken. They look stylish and are practical. I've worn them on a couple of easy walks with no problems. I'm very happy to recommend these boots and would not hesitate to buy these as a replacement when the time comes. I ordered these direct from Grisport in the UK. They were on sale and also got a first order discount so happy with the price. Ordering/Delivery was quick and simple. They also came with a free gift.”
