“These shoes are not perfect, nothing is. But they're well able to do some coastal footpath walking and still be tidy enough to go down the pub without looking like sherpa Tensing. The use of lacing eyelets rather than hooks makes them less easy to snug up onto your feet but maintains the "shoe not boot" style. They seem pretty well waterproof at the moment and I hope they'll give good service over the autumn/winter on daily dog walks. Not perfect, but not far off.”

“Size 12/EU 47 very comfortable straight out of box. Have walked about 10 miles in them with no problems. Appear to be well made.”

“Boots arrived on time. I needed advice for suitable boot style before purchase and the assistant was extremely helpful and polite. The boots are comfortable from the outset. Have now done 4 short 5 mile walks and they are like slippers.”

“Excellent service and quick delivery. Pity we received a men’s pair of socks in a large size with the gators which were a free gift with our order of a pair of size 7 ladies boots. We were a tad disappointed as the boots were a gift and the socks and gators would’ve been a nice bonus if the sock had been a ladies colour and size. Other than that excellent company to deal with.”

“Boots are comfy and fine for walking dogs in damp conditions. But they are not waterproof, my socks were soaked after walking dogs in the rain (can't seem to unload photo on the phone). So back to wellies when the weather is bad unfortunately.”

“Colour of shoes received not as shown on website . I ordered tan but the shoes were brown. This meant contrast stitching and ankle cuff made shoe not as attractive.”

“Nice boots in a great colour, pretty much as described. I have worn a few times now and they are very comfortable. I need a wide fit boot and lots of ankle support and these are perfect. The laces are a bit short and there is a weird loop/hook thing that I don't really understand, but it doesn't cause any problems so that's OK. The soles are good and thick and should last a while, and there are reflective patches on the heels which are useful for walking in the dark in the lanes.”

“Out of all workboots I hv tried grisport outperforms them all. Tough high quality and compared to price really good. Nice supportive fit , Can’t fault them. Worn over 10 pairs now!”
