“Excellent delivery on time. Vitavia greenhouse is generally well made. My brother assembles greenhouses as part of his job and his opinion was very positive about the build quality. However the instructions were poor for the non-specialist. I can confidently say it would never have been finished if left to me as he was able to interpret the odd diagrams and was used to the conventions of greenhouse manufacturers. The only thing about the construction was the weak frame around the roof opener, easily bent out of shape, especially by the auto-opener. Needs reinforcing. Was angry however at the louvre window accessory which was too small for the space, leaving a 5 inch gap. When I called to ask about this I was told there was plenty of spare glass and I should just go and get a piece cut! Very poor customer service and really left a bad taste, but I wouldn't let this colour my overall rating of the greenhouse.”

“Was very happy with the service from Greenhouse Stores but would not buy a Eden Birdlip greenhouse again. In spite of following the instructions to the letter I had lots of problems. So little tolerance, just not practical. Was going to buy another for my son.....no chance”

“Very expensive! Model chosen £500+ but comes with no base.!! Glass comes on a small pallet. Frame comes in one narrow box. I was excited to receive it but having spent my money buying it I am not able to buy the base so even errected it yet, therefore I cannot comment on product quality.”

“Nicely designed and sized greenhouse but at the end opposite the door, the triangular top pane of glass doesn't fit properly and has had to be 'adapted'. This may be because I later noticed that the name and address on one of the packages delivered were to a different person in another town,Barnsley, and not me. As I had, by then, erected the greenhouse, I decided it was too late to do anything about it and have made the best of it.”

“The promised delivery date was exactly on schedule and the product was very well wrapped and arrived without any problems. Despite the glass being on the heavy side the delivery man picked it all up and put it behind my house on the alrady prepared concrete plinth I had built for it. Access only being possible on foot due to narrowness of the entrance. My only problem was with the product itself although of very good quality the instruction leaflet for the greenhouse erection was very poor. Half the diagrams that are needed were missing and it came in a multitude of languages that made a mass of useless paper. More diagrams and less verbiage would be very handy. Especially for someone who is unfamiliar with putting up a greenhouse as I was. Why did I get left over with bits supplied that I couldn't fathom out where or how they went? Although all numbered these parts were omitted from the instructions. The retailer would do well to complain to the german supplier about this.”
