“I ordered a pack of Aphidius after spotting greenfly in my greenhouse. Unfortunately the pack only produced about 50 aphidius flies. After emailing Green Gardener I received a replacement the following day - excellent customer service - and this time hundreds of flies came from the pack. Within a couple f days I could not see any greenfly. Some of the plants affected were chilli and peppers so this method of control is much preferable to spraying chemicals. Would recommend Green gardener and its products to anyone. Try them - you will not be disappointed.”

“Difficult one this! Whilst Green Gardener supplied the requested Ladybird larvae as requested (2 packs) they are very young and very small (minute) I placed them with care as instructed and within a couple of days there were none left! It appears the Ants protecting the aphids predated every one of them almost immediately. My money wasted!! Green Gardener have since advised me on the Ant control, however this would have been nice beforehand which would have saved me time and money (also possibly my plants) Only advice I can give is BEWARE the Ants and consider them before purchasing any controlling Larvae”

Thanks for the message and apologies for the dead ladybirds. They are normally very reliable and we normally only have a problem if there is a delay in the post. I have not had any communication regarding "a deal", but if they turned up dead, I will of course replace them. “I ordered 25 ladybirds. They arrived 5 days late, with only 3 surviving. I understand that the problem may have been with the postal system but it has put me off buying ladybirds this way. I give you the one star because you gave my money back straight away, no quibble.”

“prompt delivery and ladybird larvae well and active - wow they were so tiny they were very difficult to get out of the box! We spent ages trying to get 2 or 3 onto each broad bean plant and not really sure if we succeeded or not, we used the tiny bits of paper in the box, but VERY fiddly!. Fingers crossed they will survive!!! Any tips on how to do this would be appreciated”

“My most intense hate in the garden are slugs and snails. I bought some copper rings years ago from you and have only just purchased more because they are fantastic at keeping the 'S' monsters away from flowers and vegetables. The fact that they come in two sizes and slot together so easily makes them so adaptable to any plant plot size and/or pot size. I really do know that the slugs are NOT happy but I AM !!!”
