“Great products and service , thank you . However , if promoting natural and environmentally aware goods , should this not follow through on the packaging , my fertiliser arrived a polystyrene box, which is non- recyclable , therefore will have to go into landfill, with potential knock on effects to the habitat etc. More environmentally friendly options are available, if it is a cost decision , then I am sure most of your conscientious customers would not mind paying a tad more , and not have the concern of packaging waste. Green Gardener could live up to its name in all areas and maybe make PR /marketing use of the change!”

Thank you for the feedback and any packaging we buy in is either recyclable or re-usable. We do work with our suppliers to try and receive our goods in "green" packaging as well, but if we do get other packaging i.e. polystyrene boxes then we try to re-use it. This is why we re-used one of the these polystyrene boxes for your order rather than putting it into landfill ourselves. Perhaps I should look into labelling these items as "re-used". I hope this puts your mind at rest about our packaging. Jonathan from Green Gardener.

“The service is excellent. The product seems to work very well indeed. I applied the leatherjacket killer in spring and autumn and within a couple of weeks there was a noticeable improvement. Overall, highly recomended.”

“Great and speedy service, nematodes delivered, refrigerated and applied a couple of days later. Result - leatherjacket carcasses all over the lawn providing an autumn feed for otherwise cranky wasps. Lawn has now recovered it's previous appearance, and more importantly, my wife is no longer blaming me for overfeeding it!”

“Green Gardener are simply wonderful. I have used several of their products and each one does exactly as it says. Deleveries are always prompt with nice emails to verify order. A company I would certainly recommend to friends, also lovely educational products for children, and I just love the ladybirds. I over looked the date of Nematodes once, and they were so kind and sent me a replacement free of charge, how nice is that. Cannot complain at all, the sticky yellow surfaces worked a treat in my greenhouse, some even went as far a field as USA in a trial to a friend.”

“I e-mailed Green Gardner for advice on how to deal with black spot on my roses. I had a speedy response and the advice to use Sulphur which I have done and, although it has not cured the problem, my roses are looking a lot better and I will start spraying much earlier next year.”

“I had a red spider mite problem when I phoned green gardener the lady I spoke to took time to explain everything I needed to get on top of the problem and the best way to use it worked a treat solving a long term problem without the use of harmful sprays that are most likely harmful to the environment and most likely myself long term use thanks”
