“Butterfly Garden was a present for a friend's son and it arrived very promptly indeed. The four year old boy was very impressed with the gift and has thoroughly enjoyed watching the caterpillars grow and hatch into butterflies. Think he has found it a very inspiring gift. “Delivered on time. Nematodes killed Leatherjackets in my lawn in April. Raked, topped dressed & seeded, now have a thick lush lawn. Retreated with Nematodes last weekend.”

“Really pleased with the copper bands I bought. I was surprised by the speed with which the plants improved. e.g. The lupins that had been looking so pathetic because of slug damage were growing new healthy looking leaves within a couple of days and are now sturdy plants again. I like the idea that I can leave the bands in the ground around the heleniums all Winter and so the protection will already be in place when the plants start to regrow next year. Usually they're already half-eaten by the time I realise they have started to sprout!”

“Bought the nemaslug treatment, this arrived promptly and we'll packaged. I applied it as directed and I believe that there were fewer slugs a few days later than before application. I did find that I needed to reapply the treatment before 6 weeks had passed in order to keep on top of the slugs though”

“Delivery was very quick. However after releasing the ladybirds into the insect house, they quickly disappeared and I have not seen them since. I have not seen any Aphids either!”

“It is very refreshing to have a supplier of natural predator ways of dealing with the inevitable pests that constantly attack our crops. This year I have used the Vine Weevil nematode which as far as can be seen has been very effective and we have not had to worry about poisoning ourselves when we eat the fruit from our lemon trees, which have been prone to these as they are in large pots, so they can be moved into the greenhouse during the frosty months. Also our potted begonia and fuchsia plants have been attacked in the past and these have been well protected, as have our collection of auriculas which are very prone to vine weevil. in our greenhouse, this year our tomato, cucumber and aubergines have been kept safe from the ravages of white fly by Encarsia Formosa which have been very effective. At this time last year we were unable to keep them under control and they ruined our plants. we also found that our aubergines were infected with greenfly and the ladybird family we introduced reduced the greenfly population to an acceptable level while we got great glee at seeing them on the plants busily devouring their prey and pupating into adult beetles. This year has been exceptionally bad for slugs and next year we will try out the slug nematode. Well done Green Gardener.”

“I've had whitefly & red spider predators for my greenhouse this year. Both lots arrived very quickly and in good condition. Whitefly and red spider were eliminated. Thanks for your excellent service.”
