“I was a bit disappointed to find that when I opened the nematodes for the maggot stage I found there was a use by date on the packet that had expired. I was under the impression from your website that it was advised to use them around 19th September and to keep them in the fridge until that date. So I am now unsure whether they will be effective or not.”

“Good service, delivered on time and ladybugs were alive. I think I didn't have enough aphids to keep them around though! Maybe I ordered too much. I'll try again next year as the garden grows if I get more bugs.”

From : Jonathan - jon@greengardener.co.uk Thanks for the review and sorry you are not happy and I would like to look into this to make sure it does not happen again, but I am confused - you ordered a ladybird barn and ladybirds on the 5th August and we posted it on the 10th, so I am confused as to why you mention 2 months (that would take us into next month if you ordered on the 5th August) PLUS we stopped selling ladybirds at the end of august! “The products bought: Nematodes for Chafer Grubs and also Leatherjackets. Easy to apply with comprehensive instructions. The staff "on the other end of the 'phone" were extremely helpful. I wish I had found the Green Gardener decades ago !”

“It can be difficult to use the website because the text is in too many different fonts and colours which obscure exactly where you have to click to order the product. Excellent products and service but I think your website and brochure need a re-design to do them justice.”

“Last year we had over 300 leatherjackets emerge from out of our lawn. The record was 70 in one day alone! We found out about Green Gardener Leather Jacket killer and used it in the autumn. Instant success. Not a single one emerged the following April and we haven't seen any since. Can't do better than that!”
