Hello, Thank you for your feedback. It is indeed a very good observation that not many people notice. However, I can assure you it is done on purpose. The reason is that it is the standard way of displaying maps in Astronomy: traditionally all the stars charts are made like this. If you were lying on the ground in a starry night, looking up to the starry sky, vertically with your feet pointing South and your head North, the West would be at your right hand side and East on your left. It is basically the same effect as looking at your reflection in a mirror. We really hope this helped. Enjoy your new map!

“The font size of customised message is small and the customer needs to be given an option to edit the font style etc . Overall good but can definitely have lot of scope for improvement”

Yes we are working on a completely personalised map, have a look at thestarmaps.com and the choice of combinations is in your hands. : ) As for the design, yes, we tend for the messages to be smaller too so that it draws the viewer in and reads not just your message but the constellations and stars. “The finished product looks great! I bought it as an anniversary gift for my husband. The initial downloaded image was missing our state in the description so I contacted customer service and they fixed it for me at no extra charge. The time zones were very different so I had to wait until they opened, but that’s understandable. I was thankfully able to print it out in time for our anniversary. Very nice customer service person.”
