“Hello, I'm using GoodSync on my Windows 10 VMWare image. One thing I constantly run into is that GoodSync doesn't survive pausing and resuming the Windows image. After one or two pauses it just hangs and all my jobs (about 15) never sync again. They all all stuck in Analyze mode but never actually go through with it. The software has to be killed and restarted, including the sync daemon. Otherwise I am happy with it. We have another copy on our Mac server and it works great there. The feature that convinced us to buy your software is the On File Change sync feature. All your Auto Analyze features are great. Thanks. George Dejmal”

“These people suck. When I have a problem they can't or won't help. When I upgraded hard drives, my software stopped working and I was forced to buy another copy. Honestly, if there was another decent synch software available, I would dump goodsynch in a heart beat.”

“It is fast and efficient. Once the jobs are set up I only have to plug in my external HD and click the option Analyze and Sync All. It takes no time at all and I can see (if I am curious) what files were changed and needed backing up. I rely on GoodSync to keep my data safe from loss or corruption by ransomware.”

While updates cannot run in the background as GoodSync2Go is installed on a portable device and thus must be plugged in, you can select to receive update notifications. Upon doing so, whenever the USB is inserted, the updates will run.

“THE USER INTERFACE IN THE NEW RELEASE IS THE WORST EVER AND IS SO DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE IT REPRESENTS A BACKWARD STEP. SO MANY ERROR REPORTS THAT I HAVE COMPLETELY LOST FAITH IN YOUR PRODUCT”

“I like goodsync's ability to run backups from any folder on my network to any other folder. As well, it maintains the file structure, instead of a nebulous backup file, which means I can manually find and recover a single file, if needed, without having to run a complicated restore process.”

“Does exactly what I need. I also like the scripting feature (e.g. post-updating my MP3 playlist after synchronizing it with my NAS, since all paths must be bulk-wise updated). I've been using it for more than 5 years.”
