“After all the news about Ransomware I decided the time had come to store a set of all my personal files in an inaccessible location. This created a problem in how to Synchronize the working area and the stored copy, following many trials I have settled on GoodSync which carries out the task perfectly. The NAS Storage is kept offline and only activated when I Consider synchronization is necessary. Congratulations. Improved documentation would improve the program or better Youtube tutorials.”

“This program allows you to schedule backups using various criteria, and it works perfectly. It is very easy to set up, and I was delighted to find that one option for the target drive is direct to your Dropbox folder, so I schedule the program to copy my files there each evening. This is preferable to having Dropbox syncing all the time.”

“I like this software very much and have it installed on most of my pcs. Very simple to use, but does a relatively complex job in a fairly fool-proof way. For a quick two-way backup it's far better than anything Microsoft can provide. It has a fairly techy feel to it, but I like that. Never goes wrong...”

“GoodSync has been an essential part of my toolbox for years now. I use it to keep regular backups and to sync my files across machines, a job which it performs without a hitch. Unlike some competitor sync programs which I tried, GoodSync always makes the right decisions and does not overwrite files with the wrong versions. An excellent product - highly recommended!”

“I use it to synchronize my work from "My Documents" onto an external hard drive at the end of every work day. This is taken and stored away from my computer when I am not in the office for security reasons and as a back-up. It works perfectly and is a great tool for this.”

“I love this program as it gives me total peace of mind in knowing that I have a weekly backup of all my important data. Its quick , easy to use and I appreciate that each backup only save the changes from the previous backup and not all the data from scratch.”

“Works like promised. If set up correctly the first time it is used the only thing you need is a reminder to keep your file synced. Just pop it in and start the software and a few minutes later your backup device is ready to go.”

“I have used Goodsync for several years and have found it very reliable for automatic backup of files and folders. I have scheduled backups ranging from every day to once a month. I sometimes forget that GoodSync is there because the backups are done on a schedule with the only check being perhaps once a month when I click on "last run time" to sort the dates column and reassure myself that backups are being done.”
