Terrific program, and very light on resources. Working flawlessly in the background. In my case, I am using it for back-ups as well. Very pleased.

Several facts justify GoodSync as your backup software. First, PRICE. GoodSync is exceptionally well-priced to performance. I have tried other, more expensive brands - now I am a GoodSync customer for life. Second, responsive CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a question about an upgrade and received a same-day response. Third, GoodSync's scheduled TIME BACKUPS actually initiate at the date and/or time set - unlike a couple of other brands. Finally, this is the only backup software I know of that backups OPEN files.

Wanted a backup software to reside on 1-3 TB external drives. Bought Goodsync-to-go and placed on each backup drive. Worked so well our company uses it regularly as well as Explorer and Goodsynch on our network. What used to take me hours is now down to 20 minutes or less!

Using GS on a daily bases to sync between two macs and and ftp server(with Client jobs). Each Mac does have several jobs and sync 5-7 Jobs every day. With regular FTP it was always a pain to get the job done (haha, no really!) Often the connection did break or there where several files that suddenly where missing or even blocked because of read/write error... especially with large files between 500mb to 5 GB which is on my daily schedule ( video and psd files). GS helps me really a lot and I've never went back to use a FTP even for little files. I sync everything..even if i just need one file... why...? The mechanism for transferring is spectacular. Sometime the mac at the home office isn't reachable via finder...but is on! goodsync is awesome via it's GS Connect connection I am able to reach and select every single file... without the struggle of the finder to index all and slow connection as OS X needs much bandwidth in showing just files on fx the desktop. Super stable app. crashed maybe once or twice since I purchased the licenses.. so whats not great? well there a curtain little tweaks...fx if its running into an error it just stops. there should ( maybe there is) a way to restart the sync (fx. a file has been deleted) . besides that I am very happy. IOS App - here is the big lag. The GS software is so great but the IOS app doesn't have anything to do with it. Don't need a backup only app from a phone to a computer. I'd hoped and want to see and selected my Licensed computers and see the Sync jobs its holding. be able to start them remotely or even create one would be awesome. If thats to wild for a request.. at least get notification if a running job runs into errors or succeeded while doing so! regards Sascha Geier

Simplifies backing up files -- all or just the crucial ones -- without overlooking changed files essential to have on an alternate desktop/laptop or to have ready should there be a loss of files or disk failure. Intuitive, simple UI that makes it easy to see what will be copies, giving option to suspend certain file transfers, or choose which direction or version to copy. Works seamlessly with Dropbox - on the desktop or directly via API. Remarkably fast, clean, and reliable. Can't image working without it. Pure peace of mind because of GoodSync.

Simple to use but with the tools to control and schedule sophisticated copy, backup and sync routines. I spent a long time researching the market for this type of software and GoodSync was my saviour!

I love the 'set it and forget it' feature. Once my backups are configured (piece of cake) they update reliably in the background. I do check that it is still working by checking logs periodically but that's just me and a bit of paranoia. Keep up the good work.

It serves a number of needs. I have Goodsync set to backup changes to from removable hard drive every two hours to the NAS here at the office. In the event I leave the removable at home or (heaven forbid) it someday crashes, I am safe. Likewise, if I overwrite a file by accident and need to "get it back", then (if within the two-hour window), I can grab the original file from the NAS. Also, I have my family photos set to backup across a number of drives on a regular basis. Goodsync is fast, easy-to-use and reliable. What more could you ask for?
