STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ....I would recommend everyone to stay away from this absolutely rubbish company. I paid 3500 for an upto date boiler as I moved into a new home in Andover even though my old boiler was brilliant and in working condition I wanted an up to date boiler. The sales team kept calling me being very helpful to get a sale as they knew I was going to pay one lump sum. They sent an engineer out to fit my boiler who left a total mess behind with not finishing the job properly by leaving hazards behind such as pipes not taken out knowing I’ve got a 2 year old son. It was a two day job and the engineer rushed his way through the job and couldn’t wait to get home both days he was here .he didn’t carry out the job correctly left some radiators to stop working and left a leak to one of the pipes. I kept calling glow green they would keep promising me false promises that someone will be out to come correct the issue after one week the man came back to say that he has come to collect his pipes that he dumped in my garden and to collect bricks I said to him hold on you need to correct your job not just attend my property to come clean the mess up as he left even bigger problems behind such as un cut pipes and a leak. The engineer didn’t seem happy about this and was disputing that he is only here to collect his mess and wasn’t informed by glow green however at the end he sorted the problem out after accusing us that maybe we must of touched something when in fact these problems did not occur before having this new boiler installed. We had a thermostat that you could control using WiFi which the sales team kept telling us to have and recommended this to us as it was more expensive after being bought into there lies and being sold this we started getting problems with this and errors kept coming up so we contacted glow green to install a different thermostat which you don’t need to control using mobile phone. They sent a different engineer after three weeks after keep calling them and chasing them up. The engineer turned up very late in the evening in a rush and changed the thermostat however him being unprofessional and most likely not knowing what he is doing didn’t set it up accurately which left us without any heating for a whole week. I kept calling glow green to ask them what is going on and when the engineer will be out to fix the problem as we have no heating and I am 8 months pregnant with a two year old son they kept telling me lies that someone will come out each day I waited at home and no one would turn up. I still kept calling them with them still telling me that someone will definitely be out on sat 5/12/2020 however no one turned up so I gave them a call at 5pm and all they had to say was that they close soon and couldn’t do anything so left me without heating for a further two days. This caused myself and my two year old son to become very ill as the temperature was below 0. This company knew that I am 8 months pregnant and have a two year old son but didn’t show any sympathy or concern rather than cause us major stress and discomfort in our house knowing that the temperatures have gone down and that we would freeze. I would recommend everyone to avoid this company as all they are good for is causing stress I was better of going with British Gas who know about customer service and are a reputable company unlike glow green who are money making cons putting up a false professional act when in fact there is nothing professional about them and they deserve to close down. How can this company be satisfied knowing they have put an 8 month pregnant women in stress and a 2 year old to catch a flu you should be ashamed of your company and your false lies. Tomorrow is another day so I am waiting on tomorrow to see if anyone shows up but I probably be let down again like all the other days.

My over 80-year-old parents have had a new boiler installed but been left with an extension lead across the landing causing a trip hazard company don’t get back to me this has been over three weeks

Unfortunately I’ve had a very bad experience with glow green , 4 weeks had a Bolier installed only for pcb to start smoking , but replaced by Bolier manufacture VAILANT , then engineer was to come back as soon as part was replaced to commission Bolier and make sure it was safe to use and everything was okay ,after so many calls and emails to the customer service teams , I kept getting tickets numbet from different people but issue never resolved, then the fourth week after boiler installation and part replaced , one of the managers called saying matter would be resolved ASAP ,my issue was given to a customer team person who said he would get same engineer to come and commission and make sure everything is okay , the team person was emailing calling the engineer but no response, then after 1 day he emailed saying he would make contact with the tenant to arrange time and date for him to come round , but two days later he still hasn’t contacted the tenant, it’s such a shame that this one engineer is runing the reputation of glow green ltd , I’ve just given up on them totally . Really disappointed with the customer service I’ve received

Sales people are good at selling their product. But they use sub-contracting companies. Electricians and Gas Safe Engineers may not be from the same sub-contractor. Had new boiler fitted during the COVID pandemic as mine was broken. Also I was in shielding. Gas Safe Engineers (two of them) came took hours to fit new boiler. To be informed that an electrician needed to come along to do the wiring, when this had been done they would come back. They came back the following day bypassed something to finish off their work (so they say I found out later they fitted the boiler wrongly hot & cold pipes the wrong way round). 5 days later electrician turned up to do the wiring informed that it needed a part and would ring this through for ordering. Then another electrician would need to install. I was told that the boiler would work. 5 minutes after him leaving I turned on the heating and straightaway - failure code. 3 days later part arrived. A day later another electrician came out fitted the part then informed me that the boiler had not been fitted correctly. I was not happy to say the least, and that after three visits I was at the point of remove it and take it away. He informed me that as well as being qualified electrician he was also a gas safe engineer and could correct the issues but would need to contact his boss. He rang his boss (sub-contractor) Who said that really he should not do this work but the electrician informed him that it was 10 days of me waiting from first engineers coming out and being messed about and it was cold. He boss rang - Glowgreen (out of hours department that deal with installations). That gave the go ahead for the work to take place. (I was happy to override Glowgreen and would have done so! Irrespective of warranty issues -problem needed resolving immediately or take the damn thing away). The electrician Reece (Lovely guy) spent a further two plus hours that evening changing over the hot & cold pipe issue that had been fitted wrongly. He made sure I had hot water and heat and that the boiler was not going to fault code. I had numerous emails back and forth with Glowgreen, who were more than useless. I also rang the company who did nothing but give excuses. I am the client I don't care for the excuses they needed to deliver their service in a professional manner which was certainly not happening. I took numerous days off work for this and for numerous people to be in and out of my home during the COVID period whilst I was in shielding is just ridiculous. I was given the sum total of £75 for my stress and anxiety which I find an insult. They need to look at how they use subcontractors and make sure that the same subcontracting company does the whole job from beginning to end. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. I personally would NOT recommend Glowgreen - AVOID!!

I needed a combination boiler installed asap, and would you believe it Glow Green did the job within a day! What more can you ask for. I have now a warm home with a modern boiler fitted, happy days!

Sale person was so keen and friendly before getting me on board by phoning me constantly. He didnt tell me the whole truth about taking the loan. Engineer didnt do the work according to the contract and threatened me on the day of installation. He rushed a 2 days of job in 1 day and left the damage to my property. Please avoid this company and dont take the loan by trusting their staff who trick you into taking the loan so the company could get paid before you are satisfied with the service then they got you under their thump. Once the boiler is installed, no matter what a rubbish work, you will be ignored because they got money from you anyway. Avoid by all means.
