“A few teething issues were sorted out but was a bit annoying to start with. Don't think I was truly informed of the ride monitoring when I signed up, which also records in whatever vehicle I am travelling in.”

The purpose of collecting this data is to understand the broader trip patterns of our customers to help us build a picture of their location and how the vehicle is used. As a result for 30 days, we collect data on things like where they’re travelling and when. We'll be looking at travel patterns overall, not just driving your own vehicle. As a result, public transport will be taken into account. This data helps us learn about real travel habits and keep prices as low as possible. “It was so easy and quick and efficient to get through on the phone to an advisor and they were so helpful and explained all policy and Hastings are actually £900 cheaper than wot I was quoted for my renewal from old insurers after 4 yrs with same insurance company and 17 yrs no claims, it was common sense to go with Hastings 😀.”
