“I took a another insurance with Hastings just 2 days before cancelling previous policy. Was charged ยฃ45 cancellation fee, which I could get back if take new policy in the next 30 days. However the new policy that I just took did not count. This makes me concerned that Hastings will also try anything to avoid paying in the event of a claim.”

“So far so good. The gentlemen I spoke to who set up the policy was polite, very helpful and fun to chat with. I've gone with the Youdrive system with the black box. We will see. Quite honestly, if - according to my particular style of driving ( ex driving instructor. No cornering on 2 wheels, no harsh breaking, no Vin Diesel style acceleration off of green lights, no mobile use etc etc ), if this system does not work in my favour after one year, then it Does NOT work at all. I look forward to a lower premium next year.
