“Very competitive premium for car insurance obtained through a price comparison site and easy to identify which "options" were included or excluded in the price. Whilst not the absolute cheapest available, I considered Hastings to be one of the more "reputable" companies providing quotations and so (hopefully!) more likely to provide a better service should the worst happen and I need to make a claim.”

“Had a multi car policy and bought a new car. The difference between adding the new car to the policy and taking out a new policy, with Hastings was well over £300. The agent on the phone could not match, or even get close to the single policy price. Even though I stayed with Hastings there was a charge to change the multi car policy. Absolute joke of an insurance company”

“Tried to cancel a new policy when I realised it was unsuitable for my needs. This policy was paid for 10 days prior to the policy start date but although I asked for a cancellation and refund immediately was told it would not take place until the official start date. Then would have to wait 3- 5 working days from this date for a refund. Had to wait over 24hours to get a response to my messages each time”
