Our numbers all start with 0333. These are charged at the same rate as a landline, so the cost depends on whether you call from a landline or mobile. Most mobile providers include 0333 numbers in your bundled minutes.

“Very disappointing experience with Hastings Direct.
I signed up for a policy but cancelled it within minutes, and before the policy had even started. Despite this, I was charged £40 for “cover” that was never actually provided. This was not clearly explained to me before cancelling, and I was not informed that I wouldn’t receive a full refund.
What made the experience worse was the customer service. As a new customer, I expected better, but the support I received was very unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional. It felt like there was no real effort to resolve the issue or even properly explain the charges.
Overall, a frustrating and unfair experience. I would not recommend based on how this was handled.”

As part of buying a YouDrive policy, you’re charged £20 to cover the tab we send you. We make it as clear as possible that you own the tab, as well as explaining our other fee amounts — and that they’re non-refundable.
We apologise if you weren’t aware of this.

“It was easy to take out the policy but I am finding hard to clarify some of the details - like when and how will the device arrive that should be installed int he windsheild.”

The tab is sent out on the date you buy your policy and it can take up to 10 days to arrive. We then give you time to get it set up, and we'll email you if we still need it to be connected.
The device comes with sticky tape, so you can attach it to your windscreen to make sure it's fitted correctly.
