“Very pleased with the quote. My current insurer (Quote me Happy who I had been with for 9 years) was going to charge me over 25% more than the previous year. I looked for better quotes, and yours was by far the best. Saga's quote was ridiculous. I have already reccomended Hastings to 2 friends.”

“Good prices, easy to set up but you will lose your no claims bonus if you have more than 9 years because they only show 9+ so you can not prove you have say 15 years. Thus costing you money on your next renewal”

Please note Hastings Direct only allows a maximum of 9 years no claims on the policy. As a result, anything over 9 years will not have an impact on the price of your renewal with us.
If you choose to take up a new policy elsewhere and you have sent us proof of your 15 years at the start of the policy, we will be able to send you proof of no claims for 16 years so that you can show to a new insurer who may accept more than 9 years.

“I feel that I was mid-sold my policy. For a variety of reasons I opted to pay a little bit more, £20 or so, to avoid having to use the App.
Unfortunately it appears that customers can’t dii do anything very much without using the App so I wonder why this option is offered.
I can’t even reply to texts or e mails from Hastings. This is actually my first opportunity to do this so sorry for using it. I am sure that you will prove to be a perfectly fine Insurance company but I feel that you let yourself down with this Hastings.”
