“I found Hastings Direct via Confused.com. I had been annually renewing my previous car and breakdown policy with another insurer for many years, with over 15 years no claims, but despite my loyalty that insurer over the past 3 years started increasing the premium exponentially each year, contrary to the national trend of some 16% reduction in premiums over the past 18 months as stated by the UK Head of P&C Pricing, Product, Claims and Underwriting at Willis Towers Watson plc, and the CEO of Confused.com. By changing to Hastings I now have comparable comprehensive car and breakdown insurance at a considerably less (and reasonable) premium than that which I have been previously paying. I found the online application for Hastings easy to follow, and they were efficient in sending me all the links to their information and my new policy documents readily accessible through my new online account with them and also the link provided for their mobile app. On the basis of this experience I would recommend Hastings Direct for your renewal motor insurance. I am not in a position to comment on Hastings performance upon making a claim (and hope that will never be necessary) but if it is as efficient as taking out the policy it should be good.”
