This agent advertises they cover if your car is hit by uninsured driver but this is not true. Very disappointed that things stated on website were not true and adviser did not clarify.

Money wasnt taken timely on first month had to keep calling to chase, now its going out a month into policy due to issues your end.

I recently renewed my van insurance with G&D (£233) and a week later i unexpectedly changed my vehicle. I contacted G&D to notify them that i had changed from a VW Lt35 van to a Ford Transit van the operator requested a further £212 in addition to what i had already paid. I thought this was unacceptable and asked them to cancel my current policy and i would take out insurance elsewhere, i was told that my refund would be £146 absolute robbery. Never again will i insure with Grove & Dean. Incidentally the gentleman i bought the Ford transit from told me his insurance company charged him £25 for changing his Ford Transit insurance to Mercedes Sprinter.

Completely wrong information key cover was told key cover lost key need to pay excess and it goes down has a fault and it took 5days to speak to the right department please b careful for add ons get all the information before buying insurance

Auto renewed and only communicate this by email which goes straight to junk so I didnt see. Had already purchased a much cheaper insurance elsewhere and when i phoned they only refunded me less than half of what they charged me. Emailed my issue to the admin team as instructed, and I am still waiting over 2 weeks for a reply.

Terrible company I cancelled my insurance before it had even started and they charged me £50 for doing so. Daylight robbery having to pay for something that has not even been used. Would never use again

Got a ridulously high quote when changing car. Was told it was because new car was more expensive but my premiums never went down when the old was was depreciating year by year. Got insurance elsewhere for less than half the cost quoted by Grove & Dean.

Don’t tell you that your up for renewal, just automatically take another years payment.

I no longer Insure with g&d. I found a to grade insurance company gor700 £ cheaper and wasn’t appauld st the new quote Regards Kirsten major

Had a fraud attack on my bank that lead to my payment bouncing, instead of letting me repay they cancelled my insurance, even though the company that deal with the credit agreements were happy for me to make payment. Totally unacceptable behavior, and yes it was that simple.

The worst customer service i have ever experienced. I was horrified by the way i was treated and spoken to, this company has some serious issues regarding customer service and i hope what happened to me never happens again to anyone else. I hope my case was an exception but its really important grove & dean know about this issue to avoid it from happening again.

Took my money, did not ring back, still not insured. Want to cancel and go with alternative company but told will take 5 working days to refund debit card. need to drive my car NOW !

Brought online insurance, when they called to verify my details the cost went up over £500! The only change was not parking on a drive but the road, this was also not declared online by mistake. The change took over 11 phone calls over a period on an hour, due to being cut off by the call staff. One of them being extremely rude! To cancel the policy that was not yet to start until over 23 days time they charged me £55, despite having a 14 day cool off period. Please do not use this company, very bad service and I feel like I have been robbed online
