I should never have went with go skippy they are an absaloute nightmare!! From the minute I got my insurance to now when I am trying to finish it for the year! When I first went with go skippy they quoted me a very good quote to get me started so I went with it! Then after sending out all of my documents they told me I had told them the wrong date I started driving so then decided to charge me a lot more a month AND add on an admin fee for changing it! Even after asking for the call recording to prove that I had told them the wrong date (which I was never supplied with). So I have been paying this ridiculous monthly fee and now it has come time to either renew or finish the insurance. Obviously I don't want to renew so after calling up and being put on hold for your usual 30+ minutes I was told they were too busy and would put a note on the system to not auto renew. Then I asked about my 1 year no claims and if I had to call up about that or if they would just send it? The man on the other end of the phone said they would call me back and hung up instantly on me! They are an absolute joke I am so angry at myself for going with them!!! This time I will have learnt my lesson and won't be going with just anybody! I will do my research first!!!

The worst insurance company ever they don't listen to customer problem all they want is to take your money they are pathetic never ever get a policy with them or you will regret it

Very unprofessional car insurance renewal is far higher than a new policy on top of it Renewal is topped up with deposit Nonsense. Never renew policies with these guys Avoid at any cost

This company doesn't even having a rating of 1. I would give it a minus.Customer service is the poorest I have ever seen. Their agent had made a mistake on our policy and they cancelled our insurance without any reasoning. Discusting service, pathetic management . These type of insurance companies should be banned. Stay well away from this firm.????????

Gave conflicting advice on the phone prior to commencing insurance then hiked the price up after documents were sent through. Customer service difficult to get in touch with. Hard word getting refund even though insurance was cancelled before it actually started. Draconian style of document checking. I paid more to go else where. I imagine Goskippy would be difficult on the event of a claim. AVOID.

When I came to take out an insurance policy I was looking for a reliable and cheap company. What I got was the most incapable, incompetent and unreliable human beings myself and my partner has ever come across. First of all confirming my date of birth. All done and the policy was taken out. However when we received our insurance details via post we noticed that they had put the totally incorrect date of birth down. After being on hold to 'customer service' for nearly over 45mins we finally got through to a human being. In this conversation both my partner and I corrected my date of birth and what we thought rectified the situation. However once we again received the details via post this had not been rectified. There we went through the process again however we were then told we had to pay a further fee of nearly £300 to change my OWN date of birth as there incompetent telephone advisors completed this incorrectly!! We didn't pay the fee for obvious reasons and finally after nearly a total of 2hours holding time everything had been set out straight and so the policy began. My policy is now up for renewal. So therefore my partner received a phone call today asking if we wished to do so. We politely declined the offer as per previous experiences and asked that our details are to be removed of there system so that the payment does not automatically taken out. They advised that they will 'make a note on the system' Not good enough. After several times of being put on hold we were then told we could not obtain a simple email from them stating our details have been removed and payment will not be taken automatically. Therefore we were transferred again to another department... This time financial control. They also declined our request for a simple email for our own piece of mind. After about a 30minute heated discussion with the telephone advisor they agreed to send the email. Now please anyone who is thinking to take out any sort of insurance with this company I suggest you reconsider. There service is shocking.

Not happy at all would not use again even if they paid me spent more time on the phone because they randomly add charges do not go with this company if you know what's good for you

I don't advace you to have this insurance,I've got an bad experience with them,that don't have 24 then 24 hours service,so if is happen somethings in weekend you will be boloked without helping you somebody,just from the Monday in Friday then when you call them you have to pay the bill of the phone cause they charge you when you call them,then you have to wait hours and hours and fit with them to can help you somebody and I don' know if someone to have this insurance to stressed with them then be happy cause if is happen somethings you are covered,so...I don't advace you to go with go skippy

Goskippy has a very poor customer service. They charge me 50 quid just because instead of 1 year no claim bonus i had 2. Also their staff doesn t bother to put through customer service manager and they dont even contact other departments! They don t even know how to answer my query regarding windscreen cover as they only give another company name and number. Just because they might charge me another astronomical amount for canceling within 14 days, and i am a bit tight financially, i ll keep it for this year. I advise every single person to not buy any insurance without reading the reviews online. Cheap is not always the best!

I've never written a review before but I feel compelled to write this.. I've been insured with Go Skippy for a year and i'm certainly not renewing with them.. This company has by far the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Their operatives use of the English language is so poor that communication is dreadful.. I dread to think what would happen if you ever needed to make a claim from this company. Yes they are cheap, but I would strongly advise you to pay a little extra and go with a more established reputable company. In a word " Shocking " !!!

Customer service is absolutely disgusting got transfered 7 times then hung up on me, could only understand about 2 of the 7 I spoke to as well. Never again!

Worst insurnace company i have used. Can answer to new customers within 30 secs but in the two years ive been with them my average wait time as an existing customer is 40 mins. Make quotes up as they go along charged me an extra £100 on top of my premium when changing from a 2ltr turbo to a 1.5 16v. Have no active website to do anything apart from look up a phone number to contact them to wait 40 mins to talk to someone, have call centres abroad which makes for difficult phone calls... Pay the little extra and go with a decent insurance company

What a shambles of a company.no customer care.carnt get hold of anybody with the numbers they provide for you.when you do eventually get hold of somebody.u just go round in circules.fast to take your money.but dnt care after that.i wouldn't recommend this company to anybody.

dont never go with this company, they are called go skippy for a reason. they cancel your policy without no notice. they take your money for an amendment then 2 days later cancel your policy without no notice. because they did not recieve a counterpart license. horribe and very rude customer service, and can barely understand what their customer service say because of their poor english language. stay away from them, cancer causeing indurance company
