I had my car insurance cancelled because the claimed I didn't send my drivers license. However I did send my documents I rang and explained this to them they still cancelled it and even took the next months for the policy. I'm now with Swinton and have been since July. I would never ever again go with goskippy and iv told everyone I know that drives not to do business with them either. It's an absolute disgrace

asked for renewal quote my insurance went up £500 without no claims during the policy, went through a price comprise site and found go skippy to be £700 cheaper then the renewal. im now with another company but go skippy have still took money out of my bank without me having a policy with them selves. phoned up to be told it will take 10 days to get a refund. and that was after 45 minutes on the phone, The only thing decent out of go skippy was a kangroo teddy

I am coming to the end of my second year with this company and its been hell.cost me so much money to get through to them as I am always on hold. I get different answers to the same questions when I call. I will never use them again

They don't pick up when u call and they only pick up if u want to insure with them or renew your insurance.. They have bad customer relationship.. Someone just hanged up on me about 5 minutes ago.. I have regretted insuring with them

The worst company ever. Stay well away. I wish I had not insured my car with them. They charge £50 to change any details. I had to let them know I had an extra year no claim and they charged me for it. They are the worst insurance company on the market. Right now they have sent me an email to rectify an error in their part allowing me to drive any car. I'm now asking them to pay £50 pounds to make those changes. They are trying to avoid it.

I'm sick of the emails that they send demanding more money. I have had 3 demanding money total of 1550 pounds since october last year. The last email was demanding 350 pounds for a no claims problems never again will I take a policy again with them

Had a policy with them, they charge you £50 admin fee for the most insignificant things. Very poor communication with them and their admin team if far below standard. Will never get a policy with them again.

Firstly I would like to give an overall rating of 'Extremely Poor' but that option is not available so I have been forced to make GoSkippy look good. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SO CALLED COMPANY. They have THE worst customer services skills on the planet. Their prices are extortionate. The insurance they provide is of the lowest, most basic level at the higher price. Scenario; I made a call to them to make sure they don't renew my policy at the end date (or I'll be charged £50 if its not done 2 days before the end date). I hear ringing and then blank, I then hear static and then their signature song. I am holding on for 16 minutes and then get cut off! This happened to me 11 times, believe it or not. I called on 3 days, a few times after this happened and after emailing with no reply!! Need Car Insurance? Check out Aviva or Diamond. They are reasonable, affordable and have manners. You will live to regret it if you take out a policy with this 'company'.

My daughter had car insurance with them & they failed to renew her policy at the end of the year, my daughter thought she was insured but was told she was not when the police stopped her to inform she had no insurance, lucky for her the officer was understanding & gave her time to contact Go Skippy to sort it which they did after one hour & forty five mins on the phone to them, but will now have my daughter to go to court get a fine & points on her licence all because of Go Skippy's mistakes, SO BE CAREFUL...

I was insured with go skippy for a number of years and other than poor customer service and opening hours hadnt had any problems. Untill recently I tried to change my vehicle over as the car I was using needed work (I have 2 cars that I had changed with go skippy a number of times when ever the other needed something). This time they said my uk peugeot 307 was a import so they couldnt insure me anymore, then followed by they do not insure my occupation anymore. I told the woman on the phone I had to collect my disabled daughter from school in a couple of hours so NEED insurance, she said go skippy are not going to be able to insure me at all but to wait up to 48 hours for a call back to either confirm what she said or change the vehicle over. I said I cannot do this with needing to use the car now and she said I had no choice but to cancel this policy first and take another out with someone else. I did this at great expense and annoyance of loosing the years no claims I was 2 months off, now paying £120 a month elsewhere as only have 4 years ncd so suitably annoyed. Heres the icing on the cake, go skippy are sending me cancellation charges which are made up of my next months payment which I do not owe them and a cancellation fee which considering they told me they cannot insure me is fraud in my eyes. They have now sent this to Insurance collections agency and I am being threatened with all sorts to pay. I am standing my ground as genuinely feel like I have been taken for a idiot here. To add aswell i challenged the debt a number of times when it was with go skippy but was ignored and still passed to collection agency so a very dubious company to say the least. All I can say is please pay more and use someone else because yeah it might be ok but id rather pay for definites after this experience. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully nobody else gets shafted by them or they read this and wake up.

Setting up policy ok ish, near renewal time, they bombard you with SMS text messages to your phone, send you stupid letters to say call them they have a better price so you do, and they haven't. Call centre staff poor, gave up after 5 minutes trying to relay just my postcode, she kept inputting P instead of N no matter how many times I said every variation of word beginning with N. If you like tearing your hair out insure with them.

Go skippy are theives, they cancelled my policy due and I was subsequently told I would Recieve my refund in full minus £50 cancellation fee. Once the refund was processed they claimed to have added added admin fees and I received over £200 less than my initial payment! Conmen! Not impressed they I reccomend not to deal with this company!!!!!

So i bought a car, paid an annual fee, sold the car within six months then don't get any money back and have to pay an extra £41 cancellation fee. Unfucking believable. GoSkippy can Gofuckoff. Never go with them guys and gals.

Abserloute joke of an insuerance company ive been with them for over a year and my car was stolen and wrote off they took my car to salvage after 3 weeks of his happening they havent once got back in touch with me refused a hire car and got a snotty woman on the phone who said it "wasnt worth claming" because my mot had expired in august i explained that in august my nana had died and i had been busy moving it had slipped my mind expecting them to decrease the offer but no theyve cancled my insuerance after they still took my monthyly 79 pound from my bank account when i have no car and also asked me to buy my own wrecked car back and cancled my insuerance the thief has been found guilty and was on cctv so i am left with no car no insuerance and no money i have a 1 year old daughter with epilepsy who is in and out of hospital all the time and now in having to pay for taxis does anyone know of anythink i can do to appeal or who i appeal to ?

Avoid, avoid, avoid. There is only one benefit of insurance at this company - low premium quote. Other than that everything fails. Poor customer service, insufficient policy documents, no legal protection. I had an accident (not my fault) while I was insured with Go Skippy and this company didn't do a thing to help me...

Awful! Please do not use this insurance company! They are an absolute nightmare to deal with. They requested all manor of documents I've never been asked for before, then said I didn't disclose points on licence - I did, then wouldn't accept my no claims as they were on company insurance then cancelled my insurance. For 6 weeks cover I was charged £100 and now they have debt collectors hassling me for an additional £98! So £200 for 6 weeks cover! They are awful to communicate with and pretty much uncontactable! Stay away!

Very rude customer service representatives.They don't listen to what you are saying and interrupt you before you complete.I did not make any claims so just wanted a no claims certificate but still was treated in a very rude way, I just wonder how bad will they behave when you have a claim to make.To add on to that they shamelessly ask time to call for discussing about selling their other policies.Will never get their policy again even if I have to a pay few quid extra with somebody else

Absolute joke cancelled my policy then said they had not so charge me for another month try explaine cheeky cwll handler try blame me wif total attitude still not receive my money back do not use these bandits thats all a can say.
