The company charges a cancellation fee e Of £25 even if your policy hasn't started. Also in 1st 14 days you will have a cancellation fee of £35 and pro rata refund of time on cover. In my opinion this is criminal. My partner took the policy and less than an hour later tried to cancel.

BAD SO SO BAD COMPANY I GOT A POLICY WITH THEM FOR £666 , I PAID DEPOSIT £66.60 AFTER IT START THE POLICE I SOLD THE CAR AFTER 3 WEEKS . I CALLED THEM TO HOLD THE POLICY THEY SAID ITS ONLY FOR 14 DAYS TO BUY NEW CAR OR I SHOULD CANCEL THE POLICY , WHEN I SAID I WILL NOT BUY NEW CAR THIS MONTH AND I HAVE TO WAIT FOR 2 OR 3 MONTHS THEY SAID I HAVE TO CANCEL THE POLICY AND THEY ASKED ME TO PAY £ 188.10 SO ITS MEAN THEY WANT £ 250.00 FOR INSURANCE MY CAR FOR 3 WEEKS SO SO BAD SERVICE

I took out a policy then got my own insurance companies renewal quote which was £200 cheaper. Cancelled skippy before the policy had started and they charged me £25. Avoid.

Avoid like the plague absolutey useless can't even have English ppl on the phone answering your questions this will be the last time I use them even tho they are cheaper

This company is the worst one I have ever used for car insurance by far. Needed to update my policy, did this online, paid a fee, didn’t have any confirmation at all, then rang Go Skippy and they told me I could make the upgrade, but I had already paid, I was then stuck with a policy that no longer suited my needs for a year. I chose to cancel the policy and go elsewhere. I then had a cancellation fee to pay, because their customer services was so awful I thought I’d pay monthly so I didn’t have to give them the payment at one time(petty yes), I rang monthly to pay, I rang and was told the cancellation fee was fully paid off and I didn’t need to call anymore, I thought perfect, fast forward a month and a half they are chasing me for more cancellation payments, I had a video of the call where I was told I didn’t have to pay anymore, Go Skippy didn’t care, they proceeded to threaten with debt collectors, this is paid of course, but failing to see how a mistake on their part was then leading me to be threatened. When you ring the customer services team they all sound like your a burden calling and they are so unbelievably rude. I would avoid at all costs, never again will I use them!!! Terrible!!!

My first impressions were a great company. However, I was charged a £25 'fine' for failing to submit signed documents by a certain date. This was despite having received an email a few weeks before telling em I'm covered and didn't need to do anything, or submit any documents. They did send details about the 'fine' in a following email, but having already read the ones where I was told I didn't have to do anything, I didn't read them until it was too late.

Go Skippy car insurance I’ve been with them for the last two years when I change my car they charge me 169.20 for nothing after after I cancel my insurance with them, they charge me again 94.80 for the cancellation charges 2 year no any claim🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Spend 30 mins of my valuable time filling out the online quote and this is not the first time either only to be passed to make a call pointless quote system it about time this was sorted out!!

E very careful using this company as can be very confusing if you have an accident. My son called to say he had an an accident and ended up with it being managed by a completely different organisation that did not communicate properly so leaving him without a hire vehicle. Reports were not sent and no communication at all from them. The company he was then dealing with were called Nationwide and had absolutely no idea what was going on. When the hire car was given, it was a daily email asking for it to be returned. Absolutely dreadful experience all round. Lastly, the reason the car hire was ended and my son was emailed to say the hire car is now reported as stolen by the hire car company Enterprise is because Go Skippy refused to pay for it, although the claim had not been settled or even as much as communicated. If you have a child looking for cheap car insurance then DONT USE GO SkIPPY

Because they couldn't insurance my new car i had to insure elsewhere. And they wanted £117 to cancel. That's half my insurance for the year. Total rip off.

Awful, said my car was a write off they arranged pickup from co parts and then 6months later after around 13 phone calls to try and sort it but they were useless said its not and returned it back to me and charged me ridiculous amounts and wouldn't cover the damage. Only gokd thing is the price nothing else
