“This company is a joke. They will not refund your money until you send them insurance certificate.
That insurance certificate was sent by email and they still ask for the insurance certificate.
You cannot cancel via telephone. Only by email.
They will ask for so many document. This company is a hard work to deal with and you need to waste a lot of your valuable time going through their awkward 18th century style operation.
I am glad they didn't require me to send documents by using a pigeon.
Very poor level of customer service. If you want hassle then I suggest go with them if you want peace of mind go with someone who have a structure in place for customer service.”
“I'm not recommend this company at all. They cancel my insurance without any reason after 11 payment. Only one last payment was left until end of my cover. Didn't send any letters. Just email what policy has cancelled. Operators rude and just ending call...it so hard to get in touch ..they always busy. I will go true court , because cancellation has been done unfair.”

“Have to say am totally disgusted I have my car on 3rd party insurance at the min so decided to do a price comparison on fully comprehensive and go Skippy came back with a quote for £500 so rang them to ask why their quote for 3rd party was 1 more expensive this year than last year by £50 per month and could I just change if over on the phone they said no so I asked what was the best they could do me being an existing customer and he quoted me £692 so the internet was still chezper. I don't get how they can't meet the price as your think they'd try to keep customers not loose them and to be totally honest don't think they were even bothered ........”

“Very poor service a policy was taken out in my name by accident when I went to look at a vehicle I never purchased the vehicle and cancelled the isurance immediately now I cannot get my premium back from them even though it was cancelled in less than 48 hours contact over the phone is a complete waste of time so it has all been via email every time I ask for my money back they add something on on ie direct debit set up fees etc etc which all added up conveniently to the exact price of the premium I paid I've signed nothing there was no mention of what they have said in there terms and conditions etc be very careful with this company avoid if possible cheapest is most definatly always best”
“I was very disappointed with the service I received from Go Skippy. I paid for an entire year of insurance in full. Upon request I sent scanned copies of my driving licence, drivers summary and confirmation that I had requested a no claims letter from my previous insurers. Despite sending these documents on no less than ten separate occasions, I received a letter (by email) whilst on holiday in Portugal confirming that my insurance policy had been cancelled. I tried on numerous occasions that day, and without success, to contact Go Skippy by email and phone. My phone calls were cut off repeatedly which was even more frustrating due to my location and the expense of the calls. I then only received part of my full year payment back as a large amount of money was kept for the five weeks I had the car insured for plus an exorbitant cancellation fee, especially given I had not requested to cancel the policy at any time. I have now had to go with another insurer, am out over £100 for five weeks insurance and have also had my holiday interrupted by expensive phone calls and pointless emails that resolved nothing. I have placed a complaint and am awaiting a response”
