I cancelled my car insurance with go Skippy and was paying for my car insurance by monthly direct debit and when I canceled i got a email stating that I owed them £229 for the cancellation fee which I think is a bit much and when I called to ask about this they said they would send me a breakdown of the charge so basically they want me to pay for the remaining 4 months of my insurance very bad company and not very helpful over the phone .

The payment failed, and it wouldn't let me retry. When I called customer support, they said they would charge 20£ extra to complete the payment on the call. However, they did not provide me with any instructions to return online and complete the payment.

I had a bad experience. I got a quote from go compare for £565. I then rang your offices and spoke to one of your associates. They confirmed the quote. I advised her that I would be home in 1 hour could I complete the transaction later on. She said that it would be ok to ring back the next day and she proceeded to give me a confirmation reference. I rang the next day and the new advisor said that her colleague should not have given you a reference no and we had to go through another new quote which took 45 minutes. She then quoted me £750. I then asked for a supervisor as I was very annoyed. She came back to me saying that she would honour the original quote. This is not the way to treat customers, but in the end we managed to resolve the issue.

I was dissapointed that I could not upgrade from third part F &T. To fully comp within 24hrs of my policy purchase. Without cancelling the policy for £25 and starting again .

The go skippy app gets 4/10 compared to my new Hastings Direct app and why is it that every single thing like changing car details or a private reg is chargeable this is not the way of other insurance companies, thanks but I won’t be coming back

Good price but your website needs sorting out it kept putting previous quote up so couldn’t process. Then when I eventually got in it could not take payment!! Had to phone and wait in line for 25 minutes to talk to someone then put on to someone else and wait another 10 minutes before processing payment! Not good

Dear Sir, your on line format is not user-friendly at all. All i wanted was information on the direct debit i have with you and to change the date which i dont even know. i was being push from pillar to post and going round in circles. I am not impressed at all. Your format gave me---OTFX286E01 AND DIRECT DEBIT THAT WAS ALL and nothing else.Please make your on line format easy to follow and access. Thankyou

Insurance is very cheap but when you cancel your policy. They charge you a lot for cancellation fee and others, so greedy for money👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I initially tried to buy my car insurance through yourselves and it would not accept my card, I have never had this issue in my life. When I called your customer services they were not very helpful and basically said they couldn’t do anything and that I would have to find some one else… in the end my husband used his card even though we have a joint account which is ridiculous. Also I have been sent numerous emails about husbands driving sunmary then I had to sign a credit agreement, I’ve never known an insurance company do this before it’s been a very long process

Arranged car insurance on line and uploaded photos of driving licences. Had to call Goskippy as they had not sent me confirmation of my (previous) NCD. Instead of adding it they sent me a hardcopy. I then received a letter telling me that I had not uploaded the driving license. I tried to ring to resolve and was then left on hold for over 10 mins so was unable to resolve the difficulty.very poor customer service
