“Took insurance out no problems. They asked for proof of license and no claims sent them both and no problems so far. When it came to take the direct debit payment they took payment out and sent me a text and email saying my insurance is cancelled. Rang them up to check what was the problem they said didn’t get email of proof so gave them the details and she found it and they wanted it on pdf format which it was. So left it as is and took out a cheaper policy with someone else. Then week later got a email saying I have to pay £252 because it was cancelled. They are on a scam”

“My experience with GoSkippy has been nothing short of a nightmare. I made the grave mistake of purchasing a policy from them on December 11, 2023, for a whopping GBP 842.10. Despite making three payments totalling almost GBP 240
GBP 84( paid on the date of buying the policy, GBP78( next month i.e. Jan 2024) and GBP78 (on 12th Feb 2024, they still have the audacity to demand more money from me.
Fast forward to February 18, 2024, when I decided to cancel my policy. Although they claimed to be doing me a favor by waiving the GBP 75 cancellation fee, they still had the nerve to claim I owed them GBP 106.86. Their excuse? Apparently, their precious broker fee and finance fee are non-refundable. What a convenient way to squeeze more money out of their customers!
It's abundantly clear that GoSkippy is more interested in profiting off their customers' misfortunes than in providing genuine service. Save yourself the headache and choose a reputable insurance provider. I've had much better experiences with companies like Admiral and Marshmallow. Steer clear of GoSkippy unless you enjoy being scammed.”
