“I purchased insurance form goskippy before like 25 days of my current insurance expire, goskippy sent me email aftre couple days saying that everything is OK and does not need any further documents. One week my insurance start they sent me email they requested some documents, which I sent and gave them call to confirm that they received, they said that they did but requested more documents, the asked of proof of occupation they make it clear a recent payslip or a letter form my employer confirming my job. Unfortunately my payslip does not have my job tiles on it so I request form my manager to provide a letter, which later I sent it as well. Aftre one or two days they sent me another email requesting my v5 which I already sent to them they said they need to see all pages so I did sent it again. Again after two days they sent me another email asking for the same document for the second driver which I did. On the same day that my insurance started they sent me another email requesting the V5 again and a proof of occupation, I gave them a call and asked what is happening, they said they need another proof of occupation and the V5 I explained that I already sent it, they check they said that I did but need payslip with my job titles on. Aftre one week of calling and sending documents I asked them to cancel my insurance and prefered pay for another insurance. They agreed to cancel but said they will charge me £160 or more for just one day insurance. I calculated the daily cost which will be about £2.50 a day and with cancellation fee they should charge like £73, they literally tried to steal money from me assuming that I could not figure out some basic math.
They just tried to make some excuses to cancel it or make me cancel so they could get some money to their pocket.
The funny thing that I did not receive their letter through the post which they requested the documents in the beginning till about aftre two weeks, so they should consider that not everyone will check their email daily.”

“Very unhappy with the service wen I took the policy out I needed to be able to drive other vehicles on the comprehensive ins like all my ins policies in the past have .wen I looked at the pdf u sent me ov my certificate I found out I carnt drive other cars on my policy .and the customer service guy I spoke to was very disrespectful and didn't help me in any way I wanted to cancel my policy 10 minutes after I took it out because your customer service wouldn't give me a good enough explanation why it carnt be added to my comprehensive policy like I need it to be I'm experienced driver ov 31 years with 18 year no claims .every previous insurance I've had for the past has had on the policy that I can drive any vehicles not belonging to me as long as it tax and ins and I covered on my own policy..as I do have to drive other cars sometime and the policy you sold me is not wat I need and being told I had pay 25 pound charge to cancel it ten minutes after I paid 66pound deposit is a joke I feel like go skippy has ripped me off and just took my money and would add to my policy that I can drive other vehicles aswell as my car I insured with u I need something sorting out with the manager of ur company. Or I'm going to speak to trading standards about it ...i wouldn't recommend.anyone to buy from go skippy to they not hepful at all ......I'm mr Bradshaw”

“My advice is not to use this company. I had a fully comprehensive car insurance quote from them. I paid and then received the documents, whilst reading the information I realized the policy wasn't right for me. I called within 48 hours and told I'd have to pay an admin fee of £25 even though the policy hadn't started and there was NO mention of a cancellation fee on the site. I asked the operative if I could speak to a senior advisor, her reply was " they'll say the same as me" I waited on the phone for 15 mins and then they cut me off.

“Don’t trust them, try another company better than this.
I wish I had Zoro star, like I will definitely give that. This company cancelled my insurance after I payed a day after with penalty. My car got impounded by they asked me to pay and reactivate my insurance only for them to receive the second money and cancelled my policy. I have given the case to my solicitor anyway.”

“Hi,
I recently called Go Skippy for more information on an online quote, specifically about the breakdown cover offered. The representative mentioned that if I chose to purchase the insurance over the phone, an additional £20 would be added to the cost. However, I explained that I was only seeking information on the breakdown cover to determine if it met my needs.
The response was that this information could only be provided at the payment page, and since I indicated I wasn't planning to buy online, they couldn't proceed. When I inquired where to find this information on the website, as the quote system didn't offer an option to select it, the reply was that they couldn't help me because the information wasn't available before reaching the payment page.
So, I was expected to commit to purchasing the insurance and pay £20 more without knowing if the coverage was suitable for my needs. This is crazy and telling about the level of customer service I would receive after purchasing insurance from them. I'll go somewhere else, even if I should pay a bit more.”

“Absolute disgrace!!!!!! AVOID!!!!! It's a scam. They just take your money and when you upload the multiple documents they keep requesting they say not received. They say you can email them but the email they give you is not monitored. Please, please do not use this scam company!! All the staff are based in Nigeria is sounds, its a Scam!!”
