“Not clear at point of sale just how much faff is involved afterwards to validate the policy. Direct debit dates not clear, will deal with some things via email and some things make you call for? What’s the point of the online portal if you have to call for an answer? Overall a real faff. Hate changing insurers for this exact reason, there’s always a hidden headache.”

“I had car insurance with this company & they couldn’t take out my dd on the proper time. I phone them with proof of the money coming out of my bank & they still insisted it was my fault. Now in constant contact with them…. They r constantly sending me threating 2 send my account debt collectors. I have now left this company & they r sending e/mails threating me with sending my outstanding balance which is small to a debt collection agency…. When I’m paying this balance.”

“So many issues…..if you are looking to buy out a bike policy DONT
I opted out for the automatic renewal quote through live chat. Even though I did this I still got charged. After calling them up about this they confirmed this was a mistake but will now take up to 5 days for the money to come back into my account.
I also called about extending my policy. As usual the lines were to busy so I requested a call back. It has been 2 weeks since this case and I have not had any update or call back.
I have since called to ask for updates about this case, and literally nobody seems to know anything about it. Makes you wonder what service you are getting when they don’t even want to call you back. There is no help what so ever
I have planned 30 days in advanced and it’s taken that long for them to respond that my actual insurance has expired. I no longer have insurance…. If you can chose another company I would”

“takes a long old time to get through to anyone, then you have to find out who you're actually insured with (as it is never actually GoSkippy but some third party) - you then wait further to speak and eventually get told you're not covered for anything. Stunning work lads, glad I pay you near on £100 a month for this service”

“Been with this company 2 years and went to renew only to be shown my renewal will be almost £350 more than several other companies and after speaking to them got told theres nothing they can do”
“All started well. Fully comprehensive insurance with decent inclusions and a 300 something premium. I had initially insured a Mini Cooper S with a 175 hp engine and my wife has only been driving for a year. So on this basis they were competitive. Then yesterday I switched cars. All details such as who's driving the car, address etc remained the same. The hp performance went down to 115. Yet this company increased my premium by £328.
I have been driving for 35 years and I have switched many vehicles. Some I reasonably expect to increase and/or have admin and penalties. But this was actually a lowering of insurance group and risks due to it being a slower car. I can not understand why they'd do this. I feel cheated and abused as a customer and I shall not be quiet about my experience.”
