“Had c section - they demand you see a doctor before letting you drive - despite that not being official guidelines. You cannot self certify you are ok to drive - other insurance companies do. As a GP myself this is a pointless appointment- esp with NHS struggling right now.

“Naively took the insurance out as the quote was competitive. Always do your homework into companies before being stuck with them for 12 months. AVOID these people!! I rang to make a policy change today to add business insurance but they claimed their under writer decided based on my job description that I was not allowed business insurance to travel with a colleague?!?! So unless your job title is people trafficker and you need an actual business policy then I would run in the opposite direction of these muppets!! The call centre staff they have are rude, zero customer service and just generally have no people skills!! Obviously with the exception of one or two!”

“Searched for cheap van insurance as I have sold my house and bought a new one, with red tape and solicitors etc I might have a space of 6-8 weeks before moving in to my new property, so rather than put stuff in storage as I'm buying mostly new I thought i`d get a van as it will be useful for refurbing my new property too (B&Q and tip runs etc . to cut a long story short their quote is £2,247.39
£1,750 dearer than the £500 go-compare one !

“this company is a joke ,,, i joined go Skippy when i passed my cbt for a motorbike for work i payed every month as planned
i had an accident where the vehicle was not insured go Skippy didn't give a toss i sorted it out with the other driver personally because go Skippy didn't care after i sorted it
go Skippy wanted a piece of the action {cash} it was all sorted i purchased another motorcycle opened up a new policy happy days ,,,,, when i took the new policy go Skippy took the money as planned then emailed me to say i didn't declare something on my new policy so they cancelled my policy without telling me ,, i then got pulled by the police telling me i wasn't
insured i got striate on the phone to go Skippy and again they didn't care telling me i have to take a new policy out costing me nearly £6000 for a motorcycle worth £2000 this company is a joke
I'm going to put this on social media for everyone to see
the lack of communication with this company was disgusting
i now today have been banned from riding my motorcycle because i have 6 points and a £400 fine which also means I've lost my job because i cant afford to get taxis to work as i work 20 miles away
SHAME ON YOU GO SKIPPY I WOULDNT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY i would look around and go with a proper company next time

“I had a policy with Go Skippy, ref: AHMJ35PC01/BSPC7071131519. I will be going abroad for few months due to some personal matters. Hence, I had to sell my car and cancel the insurance which I did on the 26th of April'2022.
In order to exit from this policy, I now have to pay £187.53; I am utterly surprised that I have to pay a hefty price whereas I only had 3 months left to the contract. In addition, I had already paid 4 additional days from 27th April to 30th April which is worth of £20 (approx). I have found the whole situation is terrible and unfair, beyond imagination!!
Moreover, I was asking to review and reconsider the cancellation costs with the Management team when I talked to the Customer Service Representative on the 26th of April. Since then, I haven't received any call from them.
I would not recommend Go Skippy to anyone. You will be ended in a situation where you will be rather disappointed than get a fair service.

“I applied for insurance 3/4 days ago. The day before my policy starts they decide to enclose that due to my conviction I am not eligible for insurance. Why would you take my money from me before accepting my money.”

“GoSkippy needs to learn what customer service is as there is non. It took over 10 mins waiting time to get through to someone only to be cut off. Is this customer service - no it is not and if this is a prime example of what insurance companies act towards customers not much wonder that there are so many uninsured drivers on the road due to Insurance companies. They are as guilty in the crime as the driver and should also be prosecuted.”

“The Cancellation Process is very difficult as they are making it very complicated.
I currenty have a policy under - Policy Number - 00HIHR01PC01, and this policy has been cancelled by Go Skippy, becasue that car which i have insured has been scrapped and i have taken a DVLA confirmation that this has been scrapped.
Secondly i have requested them to give me a quote for the different car which i would like to insure so ill not be changing the Insurer Go Skippy.
But they Said the underwriters is not covering my different car and i have been with the customer Service Agent for 1.30 mins.
FInally i have been informed that they voluntarily exited me , please note this point that i havent requested for cancellation.
Now in terms of returning my money i got refund after deducting the broken fee, i asked them, that i am not cancelling the policy and i have been exited voluntarily and why there is a broker fee involved ? They have responded that it will take 8 week to provide a solution ? is this Fair ? as i am already struggling for the loss of my car and this is an additional stress.
I have spoken with the Citizen Advise bureau and they said then can support me by doing a money claim and proceeding to court.
But imagine for a tiny issue they are making it this much complicated. So guys if you have strength to fight then Join Go Skippy, because exit process is complicated. ( Merchant metrics says the same that the cancellation process is difficult )
PS- There are some positive things as well, the customer service agents while handling my case are nice and quick.”
