Great Quote, but when I came to pay the payment code sent by email was NOT accepted. The only way to enter it was to come out of the comparison site whereupon the system refused to accept the payment quoting 'payment process incomplete'. Been trying to pay for 2 hrs now. Have phoned Go Skippy but they couldn't help as the payment goes via the comparison website!! NOT HAPPY!!!

Worst company. want to charge me over £200 just to cancel my policy. Don't touch go somewhere else. The advisers are rude and don't listen to you.

Absolute joke this company....DO NOT USE bn insured with them fully comp for 2years...was hit by a uninsured driver in a stolen car to find because police couldn't find the driver I lost my no claims and 4 week before my renewal they opened a investigation into the accident that bumped my premium up by over £600 was told I'd be due to get it back as well as my no claims bonus for months afterwards..for them to then say I'm actually due nothing due to them not bn able to trace the driver of the stolen car.....

Avoid this circus of a company based in India at all cost ! I purchased a policy through comparison website They didn’t bother to phone me or contact me after purchasing through them to check if my details were correct as we all can make mistakes Turns out I did make a small mistake regarding my registration as it was a new vehicle to me I requested a refund which was well within the 14 day cooling off period (next day) and I was told it will take 3-5 working days to refund me and a £45 cancellation fee Still waiting for my money to be refunded to me after 3 weeks I’ll definitely be some research next time 👍

Absolute CON!!!! You get a quote through a comparison website then they tell you they cant validate your details so you have to call their number? When you call the number they then tell you it will cost an extra £20 to complete the proposal on the phone ???? WTF??? Then when you have to accept the additional charges they then tell you that you cant set up the direct debit through banks such as Monzo, Revolut and sometimes Barclays. Oh and in the meantime the quote you got through the comparison website that they say is valid for 6 days has been automatically increased?? I am amazed the Insurance Ombudsman hasnt shut this money making, profiteering scum down.

While GoSkippy were pretty good as a broker the underwriter, in my opinion, are not. After a collision that was not my fault, the 3rd party disputed it. This is when the underwriter just wanted me to claim off my own insurance and were unwilling to push for a resolution any further. I had to contact an accident management company who, within 2 weeks, had the issue resolved in my favour. I will not be using GoSkippy again!!!

I received my 2024 van renewal which was £649.36 (last year price £574.04) and after checking over documents I noticed that I had only 1 yrs NCB showing on my renewal policy documents. I contacted Go Skippy helpline on 02/11/2024 to advise that I will have 3 yrs at end of policy, Call handler was not very pleasant to speak with but eventually agreed to change NCB to the 3 yrs. I asked what difference this would make to my premium, I was told that it made no difference, I found this a bit strange but agreed to renew with for another year, I was emailed showing amended 3 yrs NCB and total premium was £649.36 and was happy to proceed. On 04/11/2024 (2 days later) I received an email saying thank you for renewing with Go Skippy and noticed the total price was now £819.44, I spent a couple of hours trying to contact helpline but they didn’t answer. I phoned the next day on 05/11/2024, I again found the call handler to be aggressive, He explained that the price hike would have been caused with my 02/011/2024 phone call to amend my NCB from 1 yr to 3 yr; I was blown away with this statement to be honest. I told him that I had received an updated email after the first call and everything was the same albeit the amended NCB, I reminded him that I still have this email and he then became apologetic and asked to put me on hold so that he could look into this. The call handler then came back and said that he didn’t know why this could have happened but will now need to re-quote me for this year; Strangely enough we now have the total price of £819.44 for this year. By this time I have had enough and advised him that I can’t accept this updated quote and will not be renewing with them this year, He again apologized and said he was sorry this happened, I replied “and so you should be” I asked if he could cancel any payment request with my card holder as it was now showing that there was a pending transaction for £819.44 but unfortunately you cannot cancel a pending payment request with your bank. I was told that I will be given a refund but will have to wait 3-5 days for this. To sum everything up, if I hadn’t noticed the new total amount requested on the last email received then I would have been even more upset than what I am just now. Surely you don’t treat all your customers like this? or think that everyone is stupid, vulnerable or can be intimidated by your aggressive call handlers.

Worst experience, within a month insurance got canceled by company due to the student address which I had given and blaming me that i didn’t pay. And also charging 343£ as a due amount.

Awful company to do business with, ongoing issues regarding a change of vehicle. Was informed on 24th, apparently a £20 debt on my account disagreed and was told that they needed to listen to phone call and someone would call me back as to outcome. This evening had text message saying I need to contact them……(not able to return text)which I will not do. I changed my policy on 15th October. Unhappy customer

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - My daughter took Car insurance out with GoSkippy 22 days ago at a cost of £1500. She's had to change her car. GoSkippy quoted an ADDITIONAL £1600 for the new car, £3100 in total. Obviously she's shopped around and found a policy with another company for a total of £1600 for the full year. GoSkippy are charging her £182.37. £75 to cancel the policy with the remaining £107.37 being hidden charges! If not paid within 21 days they will pass onto a Debt Collection Agency. In addition she has had to pay £50 to change the policy from her private reg to its original reg in order for her to sell the car. BE WARNED

Worst company I’ve ever been with I’ve been with them a month and all they’ve done is ring and email and text me saying they need more documentation when I rung them up the man said on phone they’ve had all the documentation not worth the hassle

Dreadful organisation cancelled policy on first day supposedly due to it being obtained fraudulently. Never ever had this before have done nothing wrong. They won’t talk to you they haven’t responded to emails. One to be avoided.

Appalling. Repeatedly calling emailing and speak to people online and on the phone being told a different thing. Asked me 4 times for documents that i keep providing. I speak to someone who confirms they have them and even had an email confirmation stating all docs received. Then i receive texts and emaila saying outstanding docs appalling service. Theyve not a clue what theyre doing. Do not touch with a barge pole. Dreadful customer service. Absolutely never recommend

So when I first went with go Skippy because I always try to find the best deal and always select NOT automatic renewal. However I have just found that they have renewed my policy without informing me beforehand and taken the money out of my account. I tried to login to the portal but my account did not exist, so how did they take the money. Very disappointed the way they do business
