I’m here to share my painful experience with this insurance company. My insurance policy got cancelled due to they requested more document which I was not aware of it. The reason was I provided them of what they initially requested. Received 2 emails: one advising if any assistance required in case of accident or breakdown. The second one, acknowledging the receipt of documentation & requesting for more which was not written as the main statement and didn’t read the full content, The policy only lasted for 27 days & I was asked to pay a total of £695. 16 . I strongly feel this punishment is very unfair I don’t recommend GoSkippy to anyone

Your company is an absolute disgrace. Hidden fees, outrageous cancellation charges, and a complete lack of transparency. Charging customers £154 to cancel a policy is daylight robbery, and the way you sneak in additional charges is nothing short of unethical. Is this how you treat loyal customers? One of the worst insurance company Customer service agent needs more knowledge about the product and they should explain there hidden charges while explaining the things over phone They literally steal your money if you are not smart enough .

"Be Careful", Cancellation chargers applied even if you cancel next day. ( for policy staring next month). Before payment thay say full refund with in 14 days but they do charge cancelation fees . Poor customer they don't know any policy or regulations. even they don't know there is a consumer act exist. ex. https://www.gov.uk/accepting-returns-and-giving-refunds You need to escellate to resolve it. "NOTE:" Please see the screenshort the goskippy.com customer care said to me that I need to contact some 'Preimum Credit' company for thier payments which even more painfull. I have resolved finally after escellation and too much time spent and unlikely recomment anyone. You migh buy cheap car insurnace and let see how you are able to claim when you really need.

I am extremely disappointed with the poor level of customer service I received. I canceled my policy on the 19th of November and spoke to a representative named "Sibu." He was completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and dishonest. His manager was no better, displaying the same level of incompetence and dishonesty. During the call, I could hear the team laughing in the background while I was trying to explain my issue and request a cancellation of charges I shouldn't have to pay, as I was canceling my policy within the 31-day window. After nearly two hours of discussion, I was told I needed to pay £130 to settle everything. I repeatedly asked if this payment would resolve all issues, and I was assured on the recorded call that I would not be charged anything further. Despite this, I received an email this morning demanding £210 more. This is a clear breach of the promises made to me during the call. The team’s behavior, especially from Sibu, Chimu, and their manager, was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid this company. If you ever need to cancel your policy, they will make it an unnecessarily difficult and frustrating experience, piling on unexpected charges and showing no regard for fairness or honesty. This is one of the most dishonest teams I have ever dealt with.

Absolutely the worst company I have delt with. There is no communication with them only by email. All they have done is damand more money. It's cost us over double to cancel our car insurance policy. There professionalism is none existent. They are forceful and rude. Insisting that if we didn't pay immediately over the phone the bill they had emailed us 2days before, after paying " in full" all they original asked for to get out of there constant extra demanding emails, they would send debt collectors. They really are unbelievable....stay clear If they contact us again I will be contacting my solicitor.

I changed my car mid policy phoned to get my insurance changed the agent cancelled my policy then started my new one two days after the phone call therefore I didn't have insurance for two days bearing in mind I stay in Scotland I got my new car in England so had to arrange for a friend to put my old car on a trailer as I had no insurance. When I made the call fifty pounds was charged to change I had my new car a couple of days and waiting on paperwork to transfer private plates another phone call and a further fifty pounds which is unbelievable when it's only a few taps on a keyboard. I pay monthly payments and one month there was a UK problem with my bank so the direct debit didn't go through the next day I phoned and paid twenty five pounds added as it was late not my fault also on my credit file it shows as a missed payment which I remain there for a couple of years.

Generally, if you have an accident and need to file a claim, it's a painful journey. Unfortunately, that's what happened to me and reporting the damage over the phone is a tragedy. The waiting time is 40 minutes and after connecting, it's passed on to someone else because it's not the right department. I reported the damage that wasn't my fault and I wanted to receive a claim from the other party. In this case, for a damaged mirror wing. It turned out that the person who caused the accident also had insurance with them, so I thought it would be possible to resolve it quickly. Unfortunately, the other party refused to admit to the accident, which extended the case by 3 months. After that period, I received information that I was not at fault for the accident and my NCB was untouched, but I didn't receive a single pound for the damage, because they described it as information and not a claim. They don't want to pay out the money from their own funds. That's why I recommend avoiding them as an insurer due to the mounting problems and lack of cooperation.

I have never in my life known the worst customer service. They sent me a faulty black box and failed to notify me and a week after i paid the policy cancelled my insurance. the call handler was extremely rude and insulting, also claiming i had removed the black box . they tried to charge me £120 for then suddenly cancelling my policy. when i said i hadn't driven the car due to snow and ice and being hospitalised they demanded proof of medical records. Stay Away!

Terrible service when it comes to monthly payments. Changed direct debit date from 27th to the 1st and it got very messy. Goskippy ended up taking 700 out of my account in one month when it should have been 50 causing unexpected bank charges which I never got back. Would never take insurance out with them again.

I’ve been with the company for years with 10 years ncb no accidents or claims instead of my premium coming down my renewal price has gone up even after ringing up they didn’t care and said we can offer you a good Will discount of under 40 pounds

The worse customer service I have ever had the misfortune of receiving Chose car insurance via a cost comparison website one month ago paid for an entire year for three drivers and have had nothing but headache since then Complicated system for document submission that just did not work for me inundated with daily text messages and emails sent from half a dozen different named individuals non of whom read / acknowledged/ responded when I replied to the emails enclosing PDF copies of documents being requested Eventually spoke to someone yesterday who offered a solution but before I could actually try this suggestion I receive a note today that the policy was cancelled And now I am being told it will take 28 days for the refund So I am without cover And having to pay for alternative cover while I wait for the refund Absolute nightmare
