“they want Ā£50 to change the vehicle reg number after i removed a private plate. Ā£50!!!!! Scamming cheaters! I HATE this type of company - they lure you in being a tenner less than proper companies but then slap you with ridiculous charges for stuff. they said - make changes online for free - but oh no - 'read page 6 subsection 3 blah blah and its Ā£50'. Go Skippy - go do one ya scumbags...”

“Literally the worst company going so much miscommunication. Policies being cancelled without notice calling up to rectify still not correct and then when you finally think things are sorted. You get additional charges and messages saying dd has been set up. No clue what theyāre doing. Never insuring with them again.”

“Got my insurance through go skippy, have to say how disgusted as how I've been treated by them, some stupid person put the wrong reg number in and two cars were getting insured, they said it was me and your not going to pay Ā£1500 to pay for someone else are you. Anyway waiting on the C5V form from DVLA, they decided to cancel my policy as I hadn't received it and charged me Ā£75 to cancel it yet they canceled it UNBELIEVABLE JOKE THIS LOT ARE. To make matters worse they Saud I was insured till the 10th October, got a new insurance only to receive a letter from go skippy that it will end on the 8th so I've had to pay for two separate days insurance which has cost me Ā£156. GIVE THIS LOT A MISS THEY'RE A MASSIVE JOKE WHO CANT DO THE JOB. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED”

“Unless you need to make a claim, make a change or in fact do anything the positive reviews are correct - The admin is poor, the additional fees excessive and you suddenly realise you have not purchased a quality product when you need it!

“Use go skippy at your peril.
One customer service failure after another. I cancelled my insurance policy then found 2 months later they were still taking money from me. When digging into the issue I found they had failed to notify their direct debit partner of the cancellation. I was left trying to recoup over Ā£100 in unauthorised payments. 4 phone calls later I finally received my money plus a compensation payment of Ā£25 that i had to make yet another 2 phone calls for them to release the money. At each turn i was met with disinterested operators, I have never dealt with a more incompetent organisation.”

“I made a request to change my current policy to reflect a brand-new vehicle purchase. The car showroom required proof of insurance in the form of a certificate to finalize the registration process. I provided them with the necessary documentation, including confirmation of registration details with the DVLA.
Despite my efforts, they repeatedly stated that they were unable to make the requested changes. Consequently, I informed them that if they could not assist me, I would be compelled to cancel my insurance policy and seek an alternative provider. Remarkably, they promptly agreed to my request, indicating a lack of genuine effort to resolve the issue.
I believe their reluctance stemmed from the additional compliance work involved in processing my request. Subsequently, I accessed the Admiral website and obtained a new quote within seconds. However, the cancellation process resulted in additional costs.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services to anyone..

“I recommend you DO NOT touch this company
I cancelled my policy as my car was sold on, the cancellation was actually an extremely simple process with nothing I could see online suggesting hidden costs for cancelling - however this is where things took a turn for the worst - 16 days later they finally confirmed the policy was cancelled
I then receive a letter to advise I owed £130 with no explanation as to what this charge was for.
I then emailed to ask what the charge was for before I made the payment. As any normal person would in this situation
This was at the start of September - 2 weeks later I am yet to hear back from them explaining what the charge is for.
In the meantime, they sent this āchargeā to a collections agency they work with called the ICB, as a scaremonger tactic to force me to pay - Unfortunately this worked as I was afraid this would affect my credit score.
I have paid this fee now to which I have NO idea what its in relation too - and I am yet to receive an explanation for this fee.
I am STILL waiting in Goskippy to actually email me backā¦.”
