It simply stated to terminate early, would be £75. When I actually did cancel. They honestly and genuinely charged me £183. Cancellation Fee, I feel conned. Absolutely shame on you. “Go Skippy insurance I would not recommend this company to run it and Reggie cray and they were gangsters they are a terrible company do not do business with them I had my car written off by a buzz I went to put a claiming seven weeks later I am still waiting of the claim and also I'm still waiting of the money for the car that they scrapped by copart I am also waiting of a third party to pay the money from the accident that I was hit by stagecoach also do not use stagecoach as they use foreign drivers they take your money still taking my money even though I do not have a car anymore I have to keep paying the insurance we are the only country in Europe that keeps taking money off drivers after the event of an accident because you are signed up to a crazy agreement when joining these insurance places because you can't pay to port to pay yearly on insurance because the price is that hefty I was inch I was insured third party firearms theft now a long time ago when you was insured third party theft they would automatically pay out no they want you to ensure fully calm so that they can charge you two three four five thousand pounds of insurance each year even though you've been driving since you were 17 and with the only country in the world that's when you haven't been insured for a time you lose all your 13 14 or multiple years of no claimed bonus just saw that they can rip you off even more this needs to stop it's disgusting and they need to be reported to the financial ombudsman but nothing will be done as they are already being run by the government which is ripping us off to the tune of thousands of millions of pounds per year on road tax fuel duty excise duty you name it the robbing of blind I'm exceedingly angry and I will not be ensuring a car again only ensuring temporary even if it's only for a 10 minute journey I don't care I will not pay 1100 pounds a year on a car that was only worth 300 pounds and I haven't even been paid out for it”

“Complete scam. I have never used the company yet they charged me over £400 completely out of the blue and then refused to even look into it as they “have 1000 transactions on our an account and isn’t possible to try and find one”.”

“How do you justify when given me a Quote and I snapped shot this .
When I returned to pay a few minutes later as I was looking to see if could find a Blue light code . This now was reading £50 increase I still thought quotes remained for at least 30 days ????
Plus this insurance does not start for a month which more so should be locked in . I’m disgusted what happened to save your quote ?
Also it’s valid for 30 days to 3 months when did you change all that . I have spent 45 mins trying to upload my different quotes on below but it’s only allowing 1 quote for all to see . WHY 2 different prices in my e. mails including the old so got my credit card went to pay the price switched back to the most expensive last quote but opened on the 1 st cheaper quote . What’s going on GO COMPARE , that’s what I’m trying to do . You don’t want people seeing the 2 different quotes yet below says we want your PHOTOS . ID LIKE A ANSWER TO THIS”

“Very inefficient service.
Called to make changes to my policy and there's a message advising to use the portal to make changes to the policy as it's easy and and convenient.
I followed the advice and made vehicle changes, I then got charged for the changes and also received e-mail comfirmation of the changes.
Four months down the line, due for renewal and I realised that the changes were not made even though the money was taken from my account.
in all very inefficient service, the message advising to use online portal should be taken down if changes made cannot be followed through.
very disappointing service.
Customer service advisers were polite apart from one particular lady adviser who was interrupting and talking over me when i called.”

“The worst insurance company ever. Will never ever recommend it to anyone...
At first they will open the policy for you and after they will start requesting document after document till they close policy it at your expence and keep your money...
If you apply please be ready to spend days on emails and calls with them.
Pay extra to insurance price for criminal record checks and so on...
They say they called you but no missed calls....
Never had any issues with other insurance compnies. Avoid these scammers.”

“Don’t trust this place and will not be getting insurance from them again.
Seems awfully suspicious the amount of amazing reviews supplied within just a day for Go Skippy.
I got insurance with Go Skippy on 26th January 2024 where I paid £688, luckily I hadn’t had to use my insurance during my policy until September 2024 when I needed to remove personalised license from my car. After paying £80 to DVLA to remove it, I thought I should be able to update my license number easily on their site to avoid admin fees, I thought wrong, no way of updating on their site and I was told I’d have to pay £50 to change the license number which was then reduced to £35. So in total it cost me £115 to remove a plate from my car but that isn’t the end.
I finally sold my car on 14th October 2024 so a total of 262 days used and if split into months, £172.01 remaining unused from my policy.
So you would think I’d be getting some sort of refund minus a small cancellation fee right?
You’re wrong, I was sent an email stating I need to pay them £71.03 LOL
Well I phoned them up and stated my case, considering I was already aware they like to charge you for absolutely anything and everything to get as much out of you as possible.
I was then told I was actually due a refund of £81 but they had to check, turns out I had been refunded but sent a payment link so they’re all confused their side and need to check.
We will see the outcome…
Be very wary of this company and if you have a policy with them, challenge every payment because they’re sneaky and will charge you if you don’t contest with facts.
For anyone new, avoid, go with Admiral, Aviva, any of the big companies.

“I contacted to change my car . I had not bought another. The person explained that if I got a car within 14 days I could make the change but do it online as it would charge £50 if I call. I asked the fee to change or cancel and was told £35. I went online today and put details in it told me it couldn’t make changes and to phone . I had no choice and called the number. The quote to add the new car was doubling my monthly payment . I asked to cancel and I am told I am due £74 . As my payment today is going through I asked if I was going to be credited from day I cancelled . As she couldn’t be sure about this I said I would pay the £74 when I received the credit . I could not pay over the phone as my phone would not let me input details . The advisor offered to send me bank details which and I will pay the money when I have been credited for the overpayment . The quote to add a like for like car was doubling my payments . The cancellation fee is not £35!as I was told but is now £74 .
I received a more competitive quote from
another provider. I could not fault the advisor as the wrong information supplied to me was not her fault .”
